Enjoyable stay, friendly staff, great location
Pros:

-Really friendly staff, everyone I met was so lovely

-clean and comfy room

-delicious breakfast, good range of options

-gorgeous views of the sea from the restaurant

-free parking a very short walk away

Cons:

-Window was rotting with a pane almost falling out (have seen previous review responses saying these are being updated).

-Very strong smell of cooking in my room, quite off-putting.

-Woken by very loud bin collection at 7am on Saturday morning which lasted almost an hour.

-Staff were taking breaks directly underneath my window, of course they need and deserve a break but they were quite loud.

-Couldn't get a table for dinner the day I arrived, no mention of needing to pre-book when I checked in, also not mentioned online or on the menus in the room. Was v hungry after 3 hour drive so ordered a takeaway instead.

-I picked a 'cosy double' so knew it would be small, but I felt the room was expensive for it's size and lack of view (unless you like to look at bins and broken furniture).

Would use again if discount but a bit tired.
Pros:

Good parking. Simple check in and out.

Cons:

Room right opposite lift meant noise issues. Very poor shower pressure. Rubbish TV or remote to TV.

Lovely - would definitely book again!
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable. Room was lovely. Outside the building looked a little run down, but inside it was immaculate! Great location right opposite the beach and very friendly staff. Nicely decorated bedroom and updated bathroom. Comfortable bed.

We moved hotels after one night
Pros:

The breakfast was nice and the staff serving it were friendly. The bar/restaurant had nice views.

Cons:

Very disappointing. The photos look lovely on their website showing “The Unique Boutique Seaside Hotel” but our experience was of tired and basic rooms and bathrooms that were falling apart. It seems that some rooms have been refurbished but others have not, and they only share photos of the nice, new ones.
We were told the night before we arrived that there would be an event during our stay with “background noise or music until about 12am”. The event was a wedding, something they would have known about when we had booked a month earlier. With two young children we were worried about a night of potential disruption. We left after one night and found another (cleaner, fully refurbished) hotel nearby.
