The Waterfront Hotel Kuching

Excellent location overlooking the waterfront parliament in the old heart of town. We had a spacious clean room .welcoming friendly staff, amazing huge selection of food for breakfast something for everyone.

Excellent hotel. Great location in the heart of Kuching. Easy walk to the river boardwalk. Many great restaurants nearby. Hotel staff is impeccable. We left a pair of pants behind and they contacted us with pictures. The breakfast buffet is tremendous with numerous choices of foods from different cultures. Rooms are well air conditioned, great shower, very clean.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay. Excellent location, you can walk to all attractions. We chose a room with a river view and it was worth it - the view was nice and we could see the fountains in the evening (though on 5th floor the view is not as good as on higher floors). Breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options and variations from day to day.

Excellent customer service. Most accomodative towards request for last minute guest. Srategic & convenient location nearby to the mosque, tourist attractions and linked next to the shopping mall. All within walking distance. Food selections are superb!

The view from the hotel was amazing and the staff was very helpful and friendly

The spacious bedrooms and the bathrooms. the amazing shower and excellent water pressure. The beds are comfortable.I love the coffee machine and thanks for the youtube channel on TV that surely make my kids happy to stay in the room.The river view from the room is fantastic.

L'accueil est irréprochable. La piscine est très belle avec une vue magnifique sur Kuching. La chambre était très spacieuse et très bien équipée. L'hôtel est très bien décoré. Surtout : le petit-déjeuner est absolument exceptionnel. Mention spéciale pour le crumble, mémorable !

Sehr angenehmes Hotel, sehr gute Lage, sehr netter Service in Restaurant und abends an der Poolbar. Praktisch ist auch der direkte Zugang zur Mall.

The service was exceptional! The moment we stepped in the front desk lady was friendly and smiling all the time. The concierge servicing guy even helps to press the lift to your floor.

The room was spacious! And we're grateful that they gave a room with a birds eye view of the Dana Hana musical fountain, facing the waterfront directly. We stayed on the 5th floor, room 517.

The room service was superbly on spot and on time. The bed and pillow are comfy. Just the right consistency. These are important as some hotels that we've stayed in have pretty flat pillows or the beds are either a tad hard or too soft. The Waterfront hotel just knows what the customer needs!

I should talk about the rain shower!! Looks pretty new. The water pressure is great!

What's more! The breakfast spread was wonderful! So many choices from noodle station (sarawak laksa not to be missed!), eggs station. Freshly pressed juice everyday from dragon fruit , pineapple punch, honeydew, watermelon, orange..you named it. They have western, Asians and some Japanese inspired dishes as well. Their dessert selection was massive with local Sarawakian delicacies! They have cereal, oats, yogurt, fresh fruit cuts, porridge with lots of condiments, Everything tastes good! (Do try their welcome cookies too at the lobby. It's so good especially the chocolate one)

In terms of facilities, we went for the swimming pool. Well, it wasn't big since it's at the top floor with a pool bar, but it was just the right size for kids to play. Gentle reminder to use the pool during mid noon instead of evening... The evening crowd is crazy especially when the pool is small.. the gym is open 24 hours.

Another plus point for this hotel is connected to the mail directly. You can park near the hotel lift, and direct to the mall or to your room with the access room card. How convenient is that! Do note that the parking is shared with the mall visitors.
