Loved our stay and would recommend the hotel.
Pros:

The proximity of the hotel to the centre of town and everything we wanted to do in Stirling was great. There was no need to use our car. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. And one could not have asked for a better location with the property overlooking a green while our bedroom windows looked onto the garden. Beautiful sitting area and breakfast room.

Cons:

As a vegan (Riana) the typical breakfast options on the menu did not truly accommodate my eating regime. The coffee needs to be much better - it was often too weak.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön ruhig in einer Wohnstraße.
Zu Fuß ist es nicht weit bis zur City.
Das Frühstück war okay.
Unser Zimmer war groß. Die Betten waren bequem.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist wirklich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmte für uns daher gar nicht.
Das Personal war nett, aber nicht sehr bemüht. Dies war unsere letzte Unterkunft auf der Schottlandreise. Deswegen hatten wir das schon ganz anders erlebt.

A very comfortable, wonderful accommodation
Pros:

I will always stay at Victoria Square when I'm in Stirling. A refurbished Victorian, it's located in a quiet, safe neighborhood close to town. The wonderful staff make you feel pampered, and the rooms offer private and a feeling of luxury. The inn is elegant but not pretentious, and the meals were some of the best I had in Scotland. I loved my stay here!

Zimmer 9 Stuffroom-like im Souterrain
Pros:

Gute Lage in Fussweite zu City und Burg.
Parkplatz im Hof

Cons:

Irreführende Klassifizierung! Es handelt sich um ein 5-Sterne-Restaurant mit Gästezimmern, nach eigener Aussage der Angestellten Zimmer bloss 3-Sterne-Klassifikation. Wird aber nach aussen auch bei booking.com mit 5 Sternen beworben.
Bitte ändern!!!
CAVE ZIMMER 9, liegt im Souterrain mit kleinem Fenster, daher dunkel und stickig. Kein ausreichender Platz für Koffer. Am späten Abend laut, da Stuffrooms auf gleicher Etage mit Türenschlagen, Service-Geräuschen.
Zimmer 9 extrem überteuert angesichts der Mängel.

If you’re looking to experience a Villa built in 1880 with its charm and experience the feeling of true Scottish gentry,
Pros:

Lovely historical Villa. Staff members were friendly, helpful and made for a very happy stay.
Breakfast was freshly cooked to order plus a buffet of fresh fruit, pastries and other cold items.

Cons:

The shower tray made me nervous with its noisey creeks and moans. Carpets getting abit tired too. No aircon or ceiling fans.

Pros:

It was a great walkable location, a little farther away from the crowded part of the city. It was quiet and quaint. Rooms are comfortable but no air conditioning. The windows open. We stayed in early spring, so it might be too hot in the summer months.
