Hyatt Regency Denver Anschutz Medical Campus

The location is perfect for appointments/procedures at any of several large hospitals and medical centers in the area. It is within walking distance to multiple of those centers.

The hotel is large, spacious, modern, and efficiently run. The restaurant food was great, meaning we did not have to travel to dine, an important factor when dealing with medical recovery from hospital procedures.

The good: rooms and public spaces were impeccably clean. First night of my stay, front desk staff for check in was extremely helpful.
The bad: Fire alarms went off only on select floors when it went off the second night of my stay, leaving tons of confusion with my group who were on multiple different floors—there was no consistent messaging about what was happening & the staff seemed shocked when I approached and asked what the plan was for the several members of my group who, due to disabilities, were unable to evacuate themselves from upper levels due to not being able to use stairs. Then there was more chaos after the fire department gave the all-clear and the elevators were still not working, leaving us stranded late at night not being able to get to our rooms. And never did any Hyatt staff reach out after the event to even offer the slightest apology for the chaos. The food service at the on-site restaurant was also painfully slow, which made it unusable for those trying to get to appointments at the hospital in a timely manner. Pillows were horrendous—looked big but as soon as you laid on them, the part you laid on flattened into a thin pancake.

Helpful employees and clean environment and very clean rooms. We were very impressed with the restaurant and wait staff and bartender.

Quick night as I got stranded in Denver after a cancelled connection. Check in was excellent, quick and efficient. I was provided with toiletries to make the stay more pleasant.

The building design and the parking proximity

I’ve stayed in 80 percent of the hyatts in Denver and this is the best by far. This was my second stay in a few years and it was composed of a warm welcome with excellent accommodation of needs. The rooms are clean and the parking is plentiful.

We had a bad experience in DTC and we were exhausted. Decided to try this place and wow. It’s beautiful. Clean rooms and a nice vibe. Nice view. Mary Checked us in and went over and beyond making sure we had a fair price. Nice gym and pool. Right by the highway location doesn’t get any better and slept so well with no noise or interruptions. We will be back. Thanks Mary!!!

Convenient location across from the Anschutz Medical complex. Friendly shuttle drivers get you aroind the area. Some walkable food options

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Aurora. The front desk staff was very kind and attentive. They helped with printing a document and requesting a shuttle. The room was always clean and ready upon my return. It felt like each day I was arriving for the first time with all the little details in my cleaned room. The conference center was great and the food was delicious. Overall we had a fantastic stay!

Very helpful and friendly.

Spacious, clean public areas. Bedrooms good size. Ours had a lobby area (can thoroughly recommend the Premium King room which had double aspect so was very light). Clean, spacious bathroom with shower. Great bar and bar staff.

I didn't like having to walk from the parking ramp outside to lobby. Hotel was fairly clean some areas a little unkept.
breakfast was just ok, a little speedy for what was served.

Location didn’t have much surrounding, but offered shuttle and driving around was easy. The staff was awesome from check in to time we left. Restaurant (Borealis) was great. The place is super clean.

Went for a small conference where many of us have food allergies. Great venue for small conferences. However, staff response to my issue with migraine and asthma attack from hotel room scents made the stay extremely difficult for me - I’d even called ahead and they’d said they don’t use scents in cleaning and laundry.

I normally would not post something like this but there’s so many of us sensitive to scents and wanted others to avoid.

If I didn’t have this issue I’d give hotel a much higher rating.

On positive side, the restaurant staff are so accommodating to food allergies.
