No lifts
Seamless check in, rooms very clean with excellent facilities. Hotel overall was spotless. All staff very friendly. Lovely outside terrace area at the back where we had breakfast.breakfast was anmazing one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Excellent hotel and very good value for money. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic location for the city. And local car parks very close
Second time at this hotel and found it really good for aid range hotel central location on bridge street great for bars nd restaurants and sightseeing good sized rooms and great breakfast only issue is if you have mobility problems lots of stairs
We stayed here for 2 nights on a Travelzoo offer and it was very good.
Scott on reception is credit to the hotel, very friendly and helpful, gave great advice on where to park and arranged a second fan for the room as the windows didn’t open and the room was boiling hot with just one fan, probably could have done with 2 more!!
Excellent location, comfy bed, amazing breakfast and the friendliest of staff all round.
We would definitely recommend the hotel and would not hesitate to stay again, maybe when there is not a heatwave! 🥵

The heat was unbearable and it was up 3 flights

The shower was a little cramped and no wardrobe space just a hanging rail, fine for us as we only stayed one night , but wouldn’t be ok if you were staying a few days

all around comfort and cleanliness were exceptional. staff were kind in staying up for late arrival and accommodating of all needs.
Location is excellent, a bit away from the noise of city center, but close enough for easy walk. Staff was usually friendly and helpful, e.g. to provide an adaptor for the UK mains plug. Shower.
The Hotel has no elevator, nor Airconditioning in the room.
I understand that the heat wave 06/2026 was exceptional, but nevertheless, I spent 5 nights soaking in my own sweat. The small movable fan in the room did not do any good. The room was hotter than outside, despite open windows.
The entry to the shower is very narrow. With beer belly, entry is only possible sideways.
There are no mains outlets in the bathroom.

The main outside space was occupied by a private party. And the noise (I would not call the noise "music" but some people might). So I could not have a quiet drink outside and, upon going to my room, the noise level was such that I could not sleep for HOURS!!!!
Great location, apartment was clean and tidy, excellent breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff
