We love brunching here. There is no need for a reservation and the food is always delicious. Today we had the best server, Amyree. Don’t miss the homemade strawberry jam. We are already planning our next visit.
Amyree was a lovely waitress and the food was delicious.
The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The band sounded great and the food was amazing.
Shout out to my (now) friends Dimitrus and Ashley for the incredible service and recommendations.
It was a really nice vibe here. Atmosphere was perfect by the pool. Shawn was a fantastic bartender and took great care of us.
We had an amazing experience at Brutto Americana, thanks to our fantastic waiter, Matt! The food was deliciousssss, but Matt's warmth and friendliness made our evening special. He took the time to explain the menu and even offered us the guest 20% discount that we weren't aware of… even the front desk did not tell us about the discount. If we could give him 10 stars, we would! Great job, Matt! We’ll definitely be back, all because of you!
I had the most wonderful solo dinner here. It was a long travel day and all I wanted to do was be in a corner with a book and some comfort food. The Tiramisu was the star of the dinner for me. Mandy was the wonderful server taking care of me and making sure I checked all of my boxes for a relaxing solo dinner before a week of conferences.
Good was great and service was excellent from Mandy
Mandy was amazing! She recommended the linguini and it was amazing!
Ughhhh the Tyler’s are sooooo phenomenal! I’ve been at the bar & the roof top bar a number of times and they are sooo attentive and personable! As a local I’ve made this establishment one of my staples because of these two!! From ensuring I had a place to go to the bathroom when the hotel’s was under maintenance to just ensuring that I felt welcome they are amazing!
Tyler is amazing!
Wonderful rooftop service.
Chelsea was great, and the lamb was fantastic!! We will be back :)
The room had soul. It was beautifully designed, with a corner view and a bath - perfect.
A real highlight was the record player, which was such a charming touch, especially with the great range of Louisiana LPs. As a music lover, I have to say this was one of the best things I’ve ever come across in a hotel room. There should be more of this!
The fridge was generous, the in-room safe was handy, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The large TV also allowed me to see a live running total of my account and expenses, which was a very impressive system.
I loved falling asleep with a view of the city skyline. The lounge was a really nice touch and I felt very comfortable in my room. I would definitely rebook to stay here again.
The front desk staff were helpful and courteous, particularly the very lovely female manager. She really made my stay, and I greatly appreciated her excellent hospitality and personal interaction.
The destination fee, which included a free trolley ticket each day, was great. I also loved the live bands playing in the lobby.
Seaworthy restaurant was another highlight. The staff, food and drinks were a total blast!
The Lobby Lounge barman with long nails and dreadlocks was a stand out of appallingly bad manners. His behaviour is performatively hostile - theatrical, exaggerated, and clearly designed to let his customers know they are a total and utter inconvenience. Stupidly, I felt sorry for him when I first arrived and tipped him 20% because his behaviour was so over the top that I thought maybe he was just having a really bad day. I wished I hadn't. While walking through the lobby in subsequent days, I saw more of the same behaviour with others, and I really had to wonder how he stays employed while he's costing the lobby so much in lost revenue. Thankfully, there were plenty of other places to drink within the hotel - like next door at Seaworthy. They make a great martini and the excellent repartee with the counter staff was a total joy!
To be clear, my observations of the Lobby Bar - which I understand is managed separately - are not reflective of the hotel overall, which I genuinely loved. The front desk team were excellent, and the lovely manager who assisted me was an absolute credit to the hotel.
Sadly, thanks to other less respectful, sloshy guests the room record player's vinyl LP records were left filthy. I cleaned a couple because no record player needle is going to withstand that level of grub, but the Bluetooth speaker cord created hiss and crackle anyway and needs to be replaced. A cheap Bluetooth record player could easily substitute for both, enabling guests to connect direct to the player with their own speaker. This free feature was a stand-out feature of the room in my books! I wish more guests respected this.
One handy point to note is that room service from All Good doesn't start until 7am, despite the "love letter" handed out on arrival saying it starts at 6am. Also, All Good's 'everything' bagel with cream cheese is amazingly good!
It was good and very professional
Great food and service! Chelsea our waiter was very attentive.
Amazing! Chelsea was super attentive!
Phenomenal hotel. Lots of amenities, bar, restaurants all attached. In the heart of the warehouse district lots of walkable attractions a few blocks away from the streetcar. Highly recommend this property.
We had a great experience! Our server, Chelsea, was great, friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
Will be back!
Bianca was so lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. Food at Brutto Americano was top notch, we loved the Rabbit Cacciatore and butter lettuce salad. Also a funky jazz trio was playing throughout dinner which was so fun!
