The property is not dog-friendly at all. Dogs are not even allowed inside the hotel, despite the property being advertised as dog-friendly.
The rooms were also not particularly inviting, and the plaster was coming off the walls and ceilings in several places. The bath towels were dirty as well.
Overall, the property did not meet our expectations.
Stanza ampia e pulita , ottima colazione e a 10/15 minuti a piedi dal centro. Bellissimo giardino per un po’ di relax .
We stayed in one of the cottages. There was ample room for five adults. Even though a little older, the property was clean with nice gardens and easy parking.
The fold out bed has seen better days and wasn’t comfortable for an adult.
Location was perfect for us - close to the city but our room (at the rear) was quiet.
Room was very comfortable and clean. Everything worked.
Breakfast buffet was good and restaurant not too noisy.
Some of the decor is in need of updating but we prefer that to shiny and modern!
Great location, room was spacious, water pressure good. Lovely view over the gardens. Breakfast was lovely. 10 minute walk into town. Plenty of free parking. No noise from other rooms.
Staff not overall helpful, tried to rearrange to another date but was told we could even though. Booking.com had availability. Asked for a fan which was incredibly dusty and broken. No iron in the room. Furniture is dated but usable. Bathroom window could do with a blind or curtains as it backs on to the garden so can imagine everyone cops an eyeful ( behind frosted glass) at night when the lights on.
The breakfast was fabulous and the staff where extremely helpful & nice.
Nice size room and Bathroom.
Mattress was hard
Interesting historic building just outside Canterbury. Friendly staff and great breakfast.
Some traffic noise
Very bad experience overall would not stay there again
As did you like
Nah am Zentrum und dennoch ruhig, toller Frühstücksraum, leckeres Frühstück und super schöner Garten.
Die Kingsize Betten waren leider eigentlich nur Queen-Size.
Old school vibe, spacious room, good parking, soft clean and fluffy towels
Carpet needs cleaning or replacing, no fridge, rundown furniture with a small uncomfortable bed.
1 small fan not enough for a warm⁶ triple room
V good
Nothing
De ligging, parking, ontbijt. We mochten onze auto laten staan op de parking terwijl we Canterbury bezochten. Goed bed. Vriendelijk personeel. Mooie tuin achter het hotel.
Oud, afgeleefd hotel met overal versleten tapijt. Warme kamer (tweede verdiep). Geen airco. Oude ramen met enkel glas.
We had a family room. No airco but a nice and quite ventilator kept it cool enough.
Breakfast was good.
Friendly staff, easy parking in front of hotel. 15 minutes walk to the center.
