Unfortunately the property was tired
Pros:

Fairly close to the town
Bed was comfortable

Cons:

It was tired and could do with some proper cleaning the breakfast room carpet could of done with a steam clean and the bedroom could of been all hoovered where the bedside table was it was clear that a proper hoover had not been done.

hier haben wir uns wieder einmal so richtig wohlgefühlt
Pros:

wir waren nicht das erste Mal da und kommen immer wieder gerne ins Canterbury Hotel
Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend.
Bei schönem Wetter sind im Garten, der eher eine Parkanlage ist
wundervolle Aufenthalte in der Natur gegeben.

Schönes altes engl. Hotel, wie man es sich vorstellt.
Pros:

Zum Hotel gehört ein schöner, ruhiger Garten mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten, perfekt zum Abhängen. Die Lage ist ideal für eine Stadtbesichtigung, z.B. die Kathedrale ist ca 15 Gehminuten entfernt. Schönes und gemütliches Ambiente.
Parkplatz direkt vorm Hotel.

Cons:

Im Hotel muss man etliche Stufen gehen, um zum Zimmer zu kommen, nichts für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen.
Die Dusche war eine Katastrophe, Warm- und Kaltwasser kommt aus getrennten Hähnen, wobei das Warmwasser so gut wie keinen Druck hat und auch lange braucht, bis es wirklich heiß wird. Kaltwasser dazu mischen funktionierte ld. auch nicht, dann wars nur kalt.

Pros:

Good location, free parking, free Wi-Fi, lovely garden, good bufet breakfast. Polite and caring staff.

Cons:

Building in need of bit of TLC. Window in room opens only a little, not enough for good air circulation. No extractor fan in bathroom and window opening just a little, means very steamed and hot bathroom.

Goed ontbijt, uitgebreid. Vriendelijk personeel. Badkamer ok, enkel ligbad. Het hotel is een oud huis, heeft wel charme.

Cons:

De TV in de kamer had op een draaibare arm gemonteerd moeten zijn.
