Very pleasant stay and convenient for the cricket ground
Pros:

The staff were very polite and helpful, at check-in, breakfast and housekeeping. The breakfast room was very well laid out and well staffed. The location is on a major road in Canterbury, so easy to get to, but the hotel is set back from the road and so not noisy. It's about 20 - 30 minute walk from Canterbury West station, along the High Street and New Dover Road, which if you only have light baggage is an interesting walk. It is conveniently located to get to the county cricket ground.

Cons:

The room was bit small and cramped, and was quite hot in the recent, high temperature, weather. The water pressure in the shower was okay, but on the low side.

Nice old hotel 10min walk to city centre
Pros:

Easy 10min walk into Canterbury centre, nice big spacious rooms, free parking out front, nice garden at the back including 2 hot tubs. Really friendly staff

Cons:

Road noise was a bit loud but only because we had to have the window open due to heatwave

Pros:

Great location, about 10 minutes walk to the center. We stayed in a family room, two adults and two kids, the room was very big and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly. Free parking. And they have a nice garden too. Highly recommend.

Pros:

Parfait emplacement pour visiter Canterbury à pieds. Le parking pour la voiture est un gros avantage. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et très bon. Le personnel a été très agréable. Chambre petite mais bonne literie et très propre. Cet hôtel est charmant

Great stay
Pros:

Very friendly, helpful staff, couldn't do enough. Had cottage no. 10 and it was very clean and comfortable, powerful shower as well. Gardens are beautiful to sit in. Breakfast was excellent. Easy 15 minute stroll to town.
