Gute Lage

Cons:

Das Frühstücksbuffett war zwar gut, aber 7x das gleiche. Dass man vom Saunabereich zum Duschen durch die Schwimmhalle muss, ist ein Unding.Im Duschbereich hat es ständig nach Kloake gerochen , die Breite der Duschkabinen ist eher etwas für Kinder.
Auch die Duschen in den Zimmern sind wegen der großen Einstiegshöhe und der keimigen Ecken dringend erneuerungsbedürftig.

Tolle Lage aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön im Thüringer Wald mit einer tollen Aussicht. Insgesamt ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen was aber nicht negativ ist. Das Frühstück konnte überzeugen.

Cons:

Das Abendessen wahr leider nur Durchschnitt. Mann hatte die Auswahl für ein wie ich finde überteuertes Buffet oder einer sehr mageren Karte. Die Tür von unserem Zimmer schloss nicht richtig, so das dieser mit dem Schlüssel abgeschlossen werden musste.

Pros:

Freundlicher Empfang, gutes Frühstücksbuffet, viel Auswahl. Sehr guter Service. Gute Lage, toller Ausblick über die Stadt. Parkplätze vor Ort vorhanden.

Cons:

Leider waren die Matratzen sehr fest, unbequem. Das Badezimmer ist Sanierungs bedürftig. Alle Armaturen sind sehr unansehnlich, die Duschkabine sehr alt und ungepflegt. Die eigentlich schönen Balkone aus Holz plätterten die Farben stark ab. Alles in Zimmer 111.

Enttäuschend

Die Lage des Hotels ist unangefochten Top!

Cons:

Ich komme seit vielen Jahren allein oder mit Familie in dieses Hotel und war EXTREM enttäuscht.
Das Zimmer Nr. 6 im Erdgeschoss war einfach nur schäbig!!!
Verklumpte Kissen, alter Teppichboden,
halb abgerissene Vorhänge,
Dusche und Waschbecken stark angeschlagen,
verdreckte Fugen.
Die Heizung lief auch auf Nullstellung ohne Pause.
Dieses Zimmer im Erdgeschoss auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes ist für Ruhesuchende unzumutbar, jedes Gespräch, alle Geräusche von Rollkoffern etc. raubt den Schlaf (zumal wegen des Dauerbetriebes der Heizung ein geschlossenes Fenster nicht das Mittel der Wahl darstellte).

Ein einziger (im übrigen sehr netter und bemühter) Kollege war für den Tresen und die Rezeption zuständig; d.h. erst warten auf das Getränk, dann warten am Checkin ...

Das Sporthotel war für mich für einen Aufenthalt in Oberhof immer alternativlos; aber wie eingangs schon geschrieben: ich bin wirklich sehr enttäuscht vom Umgang mit treuen Gästen.
