Absolutely Perfect!
Pros:

It's a beautiful hotel with lots of quirky little touches that make your stay feel really special. The staff were lovely and I was upgraded to the Batty Langley room with a gorgeous four poster bed. Such a treat! Everything was spotless, the bathroom was huge, I had a kettle and tea, water (still and sparkling), and milk - all complimentary. There's also a mini-bar that was reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious and filling with vegan options. It's a short walk from Liverpool Street. I loved it and can't wait to go back!

Everything was wonderful.

This is a luxurious hidden gem in an old historic part of London; I will certainly stay again!!
Pros:

This is probably the nicest hotel we have stayed in—so much luxury in every detail. The staff were wonderful, the copper tub afforded me the best bath I have ever had, beds were so soft, & the breakfast phenomenal. What a delight!!

Cons:

It’s not the greatest of areas to stay in London—walking to the tube takes you past some unsavory sites. But the nights stay was great.

Pros:

It feels like a secret time capsule - I’ve walked down this street tens of times and didn’t even notice it before. It’s immaculately beautiful. The public spaces and bars feel like an early modern personal home. It’s an escape into luxury and history. The bath was phenomenal.

Despite our room being tiny, we plan to return next time we are in London.
Pros:

Beautifully decorated lobby, lounge area, library and room. Very kind staff at the reception. Great location, close to public transport but the hotel itself is in a quiet side street. Safe surroundings. We will return for sure.

Cons:

Our room was tiny, it was difficult to fit and walk around in it. It was suitable really only for sleeping. Next time we will book a bigger room. The bed for two people would be a bit narrow for two taller/bigger people. Breakfast is only available in room service and we did not use this service especially because our room was too tiny and we would not have been able to sit down to eat.

Excellent- I look forward to coming back.
Pros:

My room was very cozy and comfortable with A/C. I loved all the old books, and the bath products were locally sourced and smelled divine!

Cons:

The down comforter was good, but the pillows were a little difficult to get used to since they sink down so much - I had to stack 3 just to be comfortable. But overall it was okay.
