Saratoga Casino Hotel

I liked the location and the size of the rooms. I liked the convenience of the market for a quick bite. I especially liked the water stations on each floor and the free charging for my car. The property had a lot of nice little extras for guests.

The size and amenities

Very professional staff. Hotel is clean and safe. My only "complaint" is that the rooms are very dark. I could not read a newspaper late in the evening because the lighting is inadequate. Ditto the lighting in the bathroom. I could not put on any make-up because it's too dark.

This is a great hotel - spacious, nicely furnished, clean rooms - and courteous, professional staff throughout. Complimentary shuttle to the Saratoga Racetrack for the Belmont Stakes week was a plus. Not the hotel's fault, but someone in the room above (or below) us chose to ignore regulations and was smoking, evidently blowing smoke into the HVAC vent, which resulted in unpleasant odors in our room for several hours late one night (front desk was notified).
Also, limited casual food options mid-week after 9pm - only the 'Perks Market Place', which is essentially a small, self-service 'grab & go' room, with a microwave, off the hotel lobby. And breakfast is limited to the aforementioned 'grab & go' with breakfast sandwiches Still, one of better hotels - accommodations wise - in the area, and highly recommended, especially for those who enjoy the casino scene.

The room was great, lots of space, and comfortable. The decor was old-world luxurious.

Room was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is just outside of the downtown but they have a free shuttle that we took advantage of. our driver Bob said to just call { we were provided a card with the number and instructions}, we called at the end of our evening and Bob was there in less than 10 minutes, great service.

3 stars of 5 is due to Saratoga Racino aka Casino used to be in better favor not only by giving $10.00 of free plays and some coupons for the meals but slots was in better adjustments. Now you get some freespins and winning opportunity only after $50.00. What personally i find higher merge because not everyone visiting casino with the full pocket of cash but socializing and just have some short gateway especially senior citizens and/or retirees from North Carolina and Geneva, Buffalo areas. Otherwise Saratoga Racino aka Casino is quite small, cozy, clean and friendly neighborhood.

It was an absolutely beautiful experience. The hotel was magnificent, but I am truly baffled that such a beautiful place has only one dining option and i would not count the place inside the casino and no breakfast unless it's the weekend and even then it's only breakfast sandwiches. I won't stay there again simply because of dining options and breakfast.

6 friends celebrating their 75th birthdays together. Friends for six decades chose Saratoga Casino /Hotel to make memories to last a lifetime. The rooms were wonderful, the staff, exceptional, and the experiences to last a lifetime. Thank you.

We were treated rudely at the Morton steak house bar. It was our 45th wedding anniversary and we had reservations at the bar. We got there sat at bar and then a couple came in asked us to move over because they are regulars and that is their spot. Do we moved down and they still were very rude and upputty. The bleached blonde who he was acted like she was a big shot. So my husband and I started looking around and I said this place needs a little maintenance it is not all like the Morton’s we go to once a week in Ft. Lauderdale. We live at the allusion for the winter. Once the guy heard that they decided to talk to us. We were turned off. He said oh I been there we said we live there in downtown las olas. What a couple of phonies. We felt we made reservations a while back and we should have had not had to move like we were a couple of poor people. Some people don’t brag about what they have.

We always enjoy our time at Saratoga Casino. This was the first time we stayed in the hotel and to be completely honest, the room we were given showed definite wear. The room was clean but FF&E needs attention. Not sure we would stay again. This was our anniversary and we decided to spend it at Saratoga this year. Had dinner at Morton’s and staff there were excellent and fun. Check in was just ok. Casino is always good.

Saratoga is rich in horse racing history having recently hosted the prestigious Belmont race It’s fitting that the Saratoga casino carries on the elegance and old world charm that is fitting for its location. Charming rocking chairs line the front of the building offering relaxing areas to enjoy morning coffee or late afternoon cocktails. The rooms offer lush towels and bed linens. A really nice touch is the endless supply of cold , delicious and ‘famous ‘ Saratoga water that is conveniently down the hall. The rooms offer everything one looks for in a room; not overly spacious but warmly adequate. They even offer cozy towels for the swimming pool that was clean, bright and spacious. School was still in session so it was all adults and no children at the pool and hot tub. High end restaurants are all within 20 minutes of the hotel, including the extraordinary Morton’s steakhouse located in the hotel itself. Overall, we can’t wait to return.
