Great location !
Pros:

Great location , spacious and clean rooms , courtesy of our wonderful housekeeper Anav ! It was spotless throughout our 6 day stay . Everything is walkable from the hotel and there’s room service and a bar .

Absolutely would love to stay here again.
Pros:

It was beautiful. Absolutely attentive staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated.Housekeeping immediately resolved all requests. Front desk/restaurant staff were very helpful with providing suggestions for attractions and other eating options.

The location, very clean rooms.

Cons:

The parking is hit and miss. No in room fridge. Only 2 luggage carts for the whole motel, ended up carrying everything to the room at check in.

Parking lot view. Not enough parking spots in lot. No seating in the room. No shower bars. Way overpriced for the amenities.

The Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites provided the perfect home base while celebrating a family member’s wedding at Glen Magna Farms in nearby Danvers. It is located right in Salem's historic Derby District, the property features a modern nautical aesthetic. There were pros and cons tho
Getting to the Danvers estate from the hotel is incredibly easy, letting out-of-town guests bypass heavy city traffic on the day of the ceremony.The hotel offers complimentary parking in their lot and an overflow lot close by, meaning family members can leave their cars behind and easily walk to local Salem restaurants for pre and post-wedding dining. Our room had an air conditioning unit that was a bit loud when cycling at night, which bothered me a bit. I also could not control the tempature in our room.

Perfect stay with yummy surprise cookies!
Pros:

This hotel and its staff exceeded my expectations. It is comfortable, clean, perfectly located close to both downtown and the waterfront! Also the small details like having cookies and ice water in the lobby, free parking, and bath salts in our room for a lovely soak after a long day walking around made this hotel top notch. We even enjoyed the on site restaurant. Good food with pleasant entertainment on Friday evening.

Cons:

It was totally fine for us, but a word of caution if you have a room on the front of the hotel you will hear the live music and conversation coming from the restaurant if the weather is nice enough for people to be outside. As New Yorkers we didn’t care (used to the street noise) but some people may see it as a drawback.

What a Beautiful Hotel
Pros:

Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites is so beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

My only disappointment was I think breakfast was included in the price, but with no mention of it at check-in, I forgot because it wasn't obvious we're it was located. Breakfast included would make up for the higher price of the room.
