Will love to stay here again. Located in the middle of isle of skye. food and room were excellent
Pros:

The location was great. Sligachan old bridge is righ there. Room is very confy for a family of four. The room had some cookies water and hotcoco for guest. Breakfast was really good.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was good

Hotel byl naprosto úžasný! Krásné pokoje, pohodlné postele, občerstvení na pokoji. Večeře v blízké restauraci byla famózní a snídaně druhý den - luxus!!! Opravdu není co vytknout.

Hotel is undergoing serious renovations with the front of the hotel covered in scalfolding.

People were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

The hotel was undergoing serious and needed renovation. The front of the hotel is covered by scaffolding which makes for a poor first impression. While we were there there was a major rain storm and water was coming through the roof in the restaurant and bar areas. We moved to an adjoining restaurant/bar and that too suffered from power outages and had to close. All in all this was not a £300/night hotel, rather should be half that. Overall we were very disappointed. The hotel did not compare with the hotels we came from or went to from there.

Hotel met fantastische ligging en authentieke sfeer, mooie uitvalsbasis om Skye te ontdekken.
Pros:

De sfeer en de ligging. En de bar er naast was een mooie bonus!

Great location if you are hiking the Cullins !
Pros:

Location , staff, history
Bathroom was updated , large and offers a shower stall and a long bathtub for soaking . Bubble bath too ! Bed was comfortable .

Cons:

Although the Building was being painted on road side and new roof added.
Interior public hallways could use a bit of heavy cleaning .

Gutes Hotel mit sehr guter Lage, aber sehr teuer
Pros:

Hotel liegt sehr gut "am Anfang" der Isle of Skye und man kommt von dort aus mit dem Auto im Prinzip überall hin. Kostenfreier Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Das Bett war sehr groß und bequem und auch das Badezimmmer war gut ausgestattet. Frühstück setzt sich zusammen aus einem kontinentalen Frühstück und einem "Hauptgang" den man direkt bestellen kann.
Dem Hotel angegliedert ist ein Pub mit Restaurant mit gutem Essen und einer riesigen Whiskey-Auswahl, über 400 Sorten! Da kann man sich durchtrinken wenn man am nächsten Tag nichts vor hat :-)

Cons:

Das Hotel selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was man durchaus z.B. im Treppenhaus sieht. Es ist zwar alles sauber, aber mit einer "klebrigen" Politur abgewischt, somit kleben die Möbel und man wundert sich...
Für zwei Nächte war das Hotel meines Erachtens viel zu teuer! Das kann man, wenn überhaupt, nur mit der Lage erklären oder dass es nicht viele Hotels in der Nähe gibt.

zu teuer, aber ideal gelegen
Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück, einmalige Lage direkt an der alten Sligachan Brücke.
Das Essen in der angrenzenden Bar war sehr gut

Cons:

Sehr hoher Preis für ein kleines Zimmer. Zimmer wirkte zwar renoviert und modern, die Tischplatte war aber sehr klebrig und der Tisch wackelig. Da erwarte ich viel mehr für den wirklich teuren Preis.

Lovely historical mountain climbers restaurant in a great location.
Pros:

Fabulous location with a great view of the Cuillin mountains. I loved all the historical photos and the museum room. The staff , Rye in particular, was very helpful and friendly. The little bar was a perfect spot for sampling some local whisky in the evening.
Our room, 52, had a huge super comfy bed and I loved the emerald green decor.

Cons:

The main reception area is looking very shabby and the outside windows badly need painting.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location
Pros:

The staff were super friendly and helpful! Great location--near the hikes we wanted to do. The room was nice and spacious, fun to be in a historic hotel, the hotel bar was nice and quiet (compared to the restaurant next door, which was quite busy). It is also the transportation hub of the area, so it makes it easy if you are taking buses instead of driving (which we were). Breakfast was nice.

Cons:

It was very expensive (though everything on Skye seems to be), and the bar/restaurant next door seems to be more into being a bar and less into being a restaurant--mostly overpriced bar food, though it's the only place around, so we were glad it was there.

Nettes Hotel mit einem gewissen schottischen Charme. Gutes -wenn auch etwas lautes - Restaurant. Grosses Zimmer mit grossem Doppelbett. Frühstück ok.

Desayuno excepcional. Habitación amplia y cómoda. Muy bien ubicado para realizar excursiones por Skye.
