Was noisy in front bedroom at night
De ligging van het hotel is echt perfect.
Als ik een minpuntje moet geven was dit de douche. Het water liep onder de deur door, wat resulteerde in natte voeten als je naar het toilet ging. Dit was met een grote handdoek snel opgelost!

Enige nadeel was de kerkklok in de ochtend, maar daar kan het hotel verder vrij weinig aan doen.
Location and size of the bedroom.
On 4 visits to the reception no one in attendance just a note saying they were running errands! We arrived at 2pm, spoke to a wall and were given access to premise remotely and told to wait until check-in time at 3pm which is fair enough. However, if you have valuables in your luggage there is nowhere to store it securely so you basically need to wait in reception until someone arrives at 3pm to check you in. At 3pm there was still no one and after once again speaking to the wall someone arrived to check us in. Our room was freezing when we entered it so turned the heaters up. The shower comes with a hand wash dispenser, absolutely nothing else so make sure you pack shampoo and body wash. There are so many hotels in Leiden we can only experience something better.
Zeer sfeervol verbouwd grachtenpand in hartje Leiden en toch rustig gelegen bij park.
De donkere balken op de mooie zolderkamer zijn mooi en authentiek, maar te laag voor iemand van 1,80+... enkele keren mijn hoofd gestoten. Mag iets aan gedaan worden!
Prachtige ruime kamer op de zolderetage van dit historische pand in de binnenstad van Leiden. De bedden slapen fantastisch en het uitzicht is geweldig. Zo gezellig met die oude ruitjes en ramen die helemaal open kunnen!
De badkamer is wat gedateerd en parkeren zit er niet bij in. Dit stond wel zo aangegeven op Booking.com dus dat viel ons nog wel tegen. Want drie dagen parkeren in het centrum van Leiden kostte nog eens € 75...
My partner said that our room was like staying in a Vermeer and that is a good description. Our stay was a very luxurious and comfortable experience. The hotel's location, right in the heart of Leiden, is ideal. The bathroom was excellent as was the optional breakfast.
It wasn't a problem for us - but to be noted that our room was in the attic space on the third floor and was accessed by a tight spiral staircase!

The location was fabulous and they were very helpful!
We stayed in the Charly suite. It was very large, full kitchen with all that was needed, comfortable bed, friendly staff. It was so nice that extended our stay for 3 days.
