Pros:

The hotel fully lives up to its price-to-quality ratio. It’s one of the best on the coast, within walking distance of the first and second stations. The staff are very friendly — everyone smiles, does their best, and tries to help with any questions. We will definitely come back here again

Cons:

Wi-Fi is very poor, not enough to work remotely.

Cons:

Not sure why, but my room wasn't cleaned for the entirety of my stay (3 nights). I did *not* bring it up to any of the staff, but it was strange.

Eigene Liegen am Strand, gute Lage an der Station 1 wo das Meer am schönsten ist, Personal freundlich

Cons:

Sonnenliegen werden teilweise den ganzen Tag besetzt mit Tüchern obwohl niemand kommt, auch nicht-Hotelgäste dürfen kostenfrei die wenigen Liegen die es hat nutzen. Frühstückauswahl sehr wenig, daher sind wir meistens an anderen Orten Frühstücken.

Incredible staff & hotel
Pros:

The staff were by far the best part of our stay. They couldn’t do enough to help. They were all so friendly and made our stay incredible. The hotel was right on the beach, we enjoyed the sun loungers and complimentary towels. The food and drinks were great. Their cocktails were made fresh and were the best we had during our time in the Philippines.

Cons:

Nothing - everything was amazing.

Idyllic beachfront resort
Pros:

We loved everything about Sur. It’s located at the quieter end of White Beach but only a 5 min walk to Willy’s Rock and -10 mins to the busy area or a couple of mins via tuk tuk. We loved the bar and restaurant on the beach, being able to walk straight into the sea and the friendly staff. The food and cocktails are also excellent and well priced. We would absolutely stay here again. From what we’ve seen, this is one of the nicest places on White Beach and is true beachfront (unlike others that say they are but are on the opposite side of the road).

Cons:

There is nothing not to like.

Comfortable, quiet and appropriately priced.
Pros:

The staff were wonderful. The young people working there are just delightful and so eager to serve.
Nice right on the beach with cabanas and lounge chairs to enjoy.

Cons:

It was a bit underwhelming mainly due to the lack of food choices available at the hotel. Breakfast is preordered and a little light on the serving sizes. No bottomless cups of coffee here.
The bathroom and window were a bit grubby
