Hotel Top, Kommunikation mit Lücken
Pros:

Die Lage ist grundsätzlich toll, mitten in Brig und nur wenige Gehminuten von allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten, dem Bahnhof und dem Parkhaus entfernt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war aussergewöhnlich reichhaltig, mit lokalen Spezialitäten und zusätzlichen Eierspeisen auf Wunsch.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr hübsch gestaltet, aber unseres war wirklich klein, speziell das Badezimmer stellt einen vor Herausforderungen. Was am meisten gestört hat: im angeschlossenen Pub fand ein WM-Public Viewing bis fast um Mitternacht statt, das wurde mit keinem Wort erwähnt. An Schlaf war über der Fan-Terrasse nicht zu denken...

Pros:

This was our second time back at the hotel and our stay was just as lovely as the first time. The staff are really welcoming, the beds were really comfortable, and we loved the rain shower.

Sicherlich eines der hübscheren Hotels in Brig. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr nette Mitarbeiterinnen.

Cons:

Aber selbst für Schweizer Verhältnisse sind 290 € pro Nacht für ein Zimmer mit 17m2 ohne jeden Komfort (wenn auch mit Balkon) unangemessen teuer. Mein Fehler: zu früh gebucht. Bei kurzfristigerer Buchung hätte man für den Preis eine Suite bekommen. Statt des gebuchten Doppelbetts gab es zudem zwei zusammen geschobene Einzelbetten. Das Gebläse der Klimaanlage schaltet sich kurz vor fünf am morgen ein und lässt sich nicht abstellen.

Great hotel for a stay in Brig.
Pros:

The staff were wonderful as was the hotel itself. We loved the living room feel instead of a typical lobby. Very nice touch. The breakfasts were fantastic!

Sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend. Tolle Lage. Bequeme Betten. Es gab sogar einen Willkommensdrink und man konnte sich selber Tee, Kaffee oder Mineralwasser holen. Kommunikation super. Keine Verbesserungsvorschläge.

Cons:

Ggf. hätte man noch eine Ablage im Badezimmer anbieten können. Grösse der Badezimmer entspricht nicht mehr ganz dem aktuellen Standard, aber es ist halt ein älteres Gebäude, die sind halt so.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Brig
Pros:

Ideal location five minutes walk from the station on the little town square- we loved sitting on the balcony people-watching! The hotel is lovely- great decor and our twin room was large and beds so comfy! The breakfast was exceptional!

Really nice place to stay, lovely hotel and staff, and good facilities.
Pros:

Great location in the old town, imaginative design and decor, and very comfortable.

Cons:

Friday night disco at pub next door was loud and unlikely to appeal to the more mature traveller, but not really a problem and not the hotel’s fault. And it’s just people having fun on a Friday night. The pub itself is a great place for a drink in a lovely town square at other times.
