- judging from the reviews the industrial/loft/warehouse vibe is hated by many but i liked it esp. the pendant lights in wrought iron (?) cases
- lounge & bar in the lobby were very quirky and cute
- the tea blend with a grapefruit flavour (available at the front desk)
- tea (& electric kettle) only available on request at the front desk unlike the coffee
- shower with only a partially frosted glass screen
The rooms were clean and very modern
Hard to get a coffee or breakfast at the hotel. They were understaffed in the morning

All staff I met were really nice, the bed was comfortable, and it’s all very clean and spacious. Location is excellent for all the main sites.
Soundproofing was terrible in all directions of the room. This was compounded by the fact that there were raucous people constantly passing through in the early hours of the morning (2-6am). Whether it was gym people or drunk people (there is a bar and a gym in the hotel) it’s hard to know, but it meant no sleep both nights of my stay. Most frustrating considering the cost of the hotel.
I was kindly offered to be placed somewhere quieter if ever I stay again, but the irony is that on check in they had already tried to do this by placing me on the top floor…(such a waste of a comfortable bed too)
There was also a weird policy whereby they preferred you to pay with credit card (which would mean a surcharge for me to use abroad), as opposed to debit card with no extra charges. It was sorted in the end, but it meant I had to pay double the damage deposit because of it (??) I’m not used to that kind of policy but where hotels usually do this, it’s only ever a holding charge rather than a pay and refund so was quite frustrating to now be out over £100 while a refund goes through. I dunno if gym bros/drunk people have destroyed rooms before but I felt a bit put out and didn’t want to use anything in case they blamed a defect on me!

The hotel has off-site parking for 35$ that is more expensive in comparison to other hotels that I ‘ve already experienced …no bottle of water and fridge in the room…you can ask for fridge…but I don’t understand why it should’nt be there..the hotel has no restaurant..just a bar and cafe for snacks and drinks that doesn’t have much stocks…I chose the hotel because it was close to my exam location…not good for leisure time
The television was very difficult to navigate, no room service was available, staff were reluctant to bring extra towels or change the bedding. Overall disappoint disappointment.
