Staff were friendly and the food was well cooked and good value.
The bedroom had not been cleaned thoroughly and the bathroom fittings were old and cracked with damp patches on the floor.
Ease of checking in. Good value meals offered.
Quiet spot
A bit of noise from upstairs guest walking around, but it wasn't excessive. We only stayed one night.
Good price, great staff. Bargain food. Cant fault anything for the price
Nothing
The staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The cooked breakfast was a delight and the bed was comfortable.
The hotel rooms are sadly outdated, in need of some desperate renovation and TLC. Sadly the shower was intermittent and some surfaces and the floor in the bathroom were not cleaned to a good standard. The wifi was poor upstairs and the TV was working but so small.
Close to main road, off road parking, quiet village, outdoor tables, reasonable price, clean and comfortable, hot shower and good pressure , good communication prior to arrival, nice chat in bar. Would stay again
No blackout curtain, Shower hose leaking, a little tired looking
Friendly stay, nice big room, good location
WiFi terrible in my room
Food delicious and staff lovely. Excellent location and dog friendly.
For the price the room was fine it could do with some updates but was clean with clean bedding and bathroom.
The beds weren't very comfortable.
Great place to get a meal or have a drink and the staff is lovely. Also from the previous reviews, it seems that some of the rooms must be nice and the location is in a quiet area. However, we sadly were not in those rooms. (We had rooms above the lounge/bar area) Dated, worn, rusted fixtures. Water stain on the ceiling. Lumpy mattress. Electric showers barely functioned.
See above.
The best 👌
Really honestly 👌🥂🙏
Accueil chaleureux, bon conseil pour visites, repas délicieux et le patron nous a fait découvrir de succulent whisky
Tout était parfait
The staff were amazing and the location is great. Wee courtyard was fantastic for the sunshine and I love that it's dog friendly too!
The room wasn't very easy and it was very basic. The bed could have been much better but value for money
Lovely friendly traditional pub, with excellent food at very good prices, ally the owner would bend over backwards to help you the guys a gentleman, the staff are really good and very helpful to , I must commend the chef I've forgotten his name , he cooked me the best rib eye steak I've ever eaten absolutely perfect and delicious, the room we had was pretty big and a massive king size bed , tea coffee are available in room , the locals are very friendly and welcoming, the Guinness is delicious, perfect pint , so all in all myself and my partner spent a lovely 4 nights there , I would definitely recommend the place for a peaceful break in a lovely little village in the countryside, thankyou to everyone we met for a lovely pleasant stay , 10 out off 10 from James and Lynn

Bit dated
The breakfast
The room had some cobwebs and dust. The bedsheets and towels were absolutely clean though.
