The towels were changed when only bath mat needed changing.
Conveniently located for central Lancaster. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a great selection of teas and coffee and luxury toiletries.

There were only 4 parking spaces, which were full the whole of our stay. There is a car park across the road but that adds on an extra cost and is a short walk.
Although there a great selection of drinks in the room there was no milk
Shortage of parking - although there is a pay and display car park with 100m.
Staff and breakfast were great. The was very spacious and everything you could possibly want. Chocolates were a nice touch!
Room could have done with a good dust.
Tap for hot water wasn't working, reported to reception upon departure; had just had the boiler replaced. Think it would have been nice of the gentleman had offered some sort of refund for the inconvenience.

Stayed 1 night for sons 21st birthday, in a good position, bedroom number 24 was OK. But no coffee machine, our friends where staying in a twin room on 1st floor and there room had 1 pluss they had chocolates left, but was OK for the night, we where all out late as where celebrating for his birthday, and when we got back to hotel we had to ring the bell for 10 mins as could not get in. Bed was very hard and pillows too soft really needed spare pillows to be left in wardrobe so not a good night sleep, breakfast was nice. But I booked a car park space, and when I arrived at 2pm could not get on the space as someone was parked on it so had to go on disabled space then this morning asked if I could leave car till 1.30 had to argue my point that check in for guests is 2pm. So thought it would be OK especially when a car day before did same who was on my space, so won't book again not worth the price
A few things as mentioned above
Our room needed a little tlc as the paint and plaster were flaking in patches around the window.
Everything surpassed my expectations. The location was close to the town center on a lovely stretch of canal. We got a lovely welcome and all the staff were very pleasant and approachable throughout our stay. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and overlooking the courtyard. The bedding and the bathroom were also spotless. The room was very comfortable and had adjustable heating and air con.
The restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent, and the portion sizes more than ample.
The breakfast was equally impressive.
The decor throughout was stylish yet cosy.
Every member of staff we had contact with 10/10.
Sadly what we didn't is not the fault of the Inn.
1. No available parking on site.
2. Available parking was very expensive.
3 Very poor wifi.

2nd stay here , spotlessly clean very comfy rooms and very friendly staff we would highly recommend this hotel.
Staff were really friendly, good great, decor great and bed was comfortable. Liked the idea of refilling shower gel etc… for sustainability

Pleasant well equipped room. Great attention to details, with fresh milk provided in flasks and cold bottle water available from the bar. Excellent breakfast with a good choice of dishes. Staff were helpful and friendly. Very good location in the centre of the city.
Beds were a little close together in our twin room, but it didn’t really bother us.
