A good choice for a short stay
Pros:

Friendly place with a comfortable bed. Clean and a good breakfast

Not many negatives really. I was attending a conference at the University which is about 15-20 minutes away.

Toll House, comfortable base with great food and drink.
Pros:

We were in Lancaster visiting Family and the Toll House made an ideal base.

Great service, great food and a very comfortable room.

Well located to head North or South in the car and close to the canal and city centre for interesting walks.

The only potential downside is that parking at the hotel is very limited and the nearby Council car park is expensive.

Excellent.
Pros:

All the staff were obliging and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The breakfasts were served quickly and staff accommodated any requests.

Cons:

Faulty bedside lamp and leaking shower screen, but when reported to staff the issues were taken on board and repairs were to be programmed.

Fantastic experience.
Pros:

Myself and my sister were visiting family who live near by. We had a really wonderful stay. The accommodation was fantastic. The breakfast 10 out of 10 and the staff so friendly. We will definitely return again.

Pros:

The Toll House Lancaster is an exceptional hotel with a great atmosphere in a great location near the Canal and town centre. All the staff are friendly, professional and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and clean with everything I needed for a great stay and that is why I have been back several times over the years.
