Clean, well maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food served - breakfast, lunch and dinner - is of very high quality.
Lots of great little extras like special dog treats for sale, sun cream freely available at every table outside; our dog was offered a sausage at each breakfast.

The food was out of this world, I had a Sunday roast and I think it's the best I've ever eaten, there was a summer berry cheesecake that was heavenly .
I can fault the place, friendly , with some lovely old quirky touches and my room was spotless

Helpful staff, some walks nearby, plenty of onsite parking.
We stayed during a heatwave and the room was extremely warm and air conditioning would have been ideal.
Nice place to stay when visiting family. In the middle of the village so very convenient. Good food choices and reasonable prices.

Great staff - very friendly. Knew my name and made me feel very welcome. Always attentive. Food was outstanding as was the price for bed and breakfast. This applied to Zoe and the Team as well as Damien.
Not much I did not like. I got two single beds, a double or king size would have been my preference but this did not detract from the overall stay.
The staff were friendly and efficient, checking in was straight forward.
The Bar and breakfast area was welcoming with a great selection of hot and cold food, the fresh fruit choice one of the best I've had.
The bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean, the toiletries were good quality.

The manager went above and beyond and gave me a lift to the local train station so that I could make my train into Manchester, which I really appreciated.
