Great stay in the heart of Keswick
Pros:

Heart of Keswick, great place e to stay. The weather peaked in the week and the prices went sky high, little pricy for one night. I wouldn’t pay the price we did again, but the breakfast was 10/10.

Cons:

The bathroom in our room, i couldn’t even get to the toilet as it was badly designed. But I had a toilet so not complaining 😆

It was OK but the room was too small for the bed.
Pros:

The staff and meals were fine.

Cons:

The room was too small for the bed - it was extremely difficult to get past the TV on the wall and the end of the bed.

The Royal Oak feels like a calm and comfortable home in the heart of bustling Keswick.
Pros:

The proximity to transport hubs and local points of interest is second to none. Fantastic breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, comfy beds — just to name a few reasons we will recommended the Royal Oak to anyone headed for the Lakes. I am a repeat customer who is very impressed with the renovation that took place since we last stayed here in 2024. Just wow!

Pros:

Great location, nice room, friendly staff. The only place we stayed on our trip where they already had the baby cot set up for us (even though we had confirmed a baby cot in advance for each place we stayed)!

Cons:

Nothing!

A wonderful short break
Pros:

Perfect location, amazing breakfast and very clean. Room facilities exceeded expectation. Staff were professional and very helpful, will definitely be returning

Cons:

Parking was stressful which wasn’t the fault of the hotel. It would be helpful if the hotel had a connection with the car park company so payment could be made through the hotel instead of grappling with the car parking App which required Wi-Fi
