Staff was very kind and helpful. Room was clean and cozy with complimentary water, tea, and chocolates. Location was perfectly in the heart of town, and a short walk to restaurants, shops, and trails. Included breakfast was delicious, as well as their lunch and dinner options.
Love this hotel. The staff are super friendly & cater well for dogs. In the 30 degree heat the air conditioned rooms were heaven. Great off menu breakfast & is a lovely Central location in Keswick.
No parking provision
Staff are all helpful, friendly and smiley. Loved the interior. Location is superb! Would recommend and will come back again!
Nothing. It's the best hotel I stayed in the UK!

Thank you
Schönes Zimmer, sauberes Bad, tolle Lage, tolles Frühstück
Fantastic hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff! They couldn’t do enough for us.
The room was immaculate and well presented and the food was spot on!
Cracking place to stay in a location that can’t be topped for all amenities and excursions.
The location to the main street was fantastic. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice.
The room we were allocated was very small. If you are a light sleeper (like me) early morning noise from the main street may wake you up. The main issue was the entry and exit to the room (door frame) was very low. I understand this cannot be made higher but please remove the door closing mechanism. I struck my head twice on this (im 6 foot tall) and on the last occasion so forcibly I had swelling to my head and an throbbing head ache. I raised this with the manager (who created an accident report) and was told the health and safety company lead had be informed and would be in touch. Nearly 3 weeks later... i have haven't had any follow up.
We enjoyed our one night stay at The Royal Oak in Keswick. Room was lovely and very clean. Air conditioning was a bonus in this heatwave. Goody Bag for the dog was a nice touch and complimentary truffles were delicious. Breakfast was really nice, staff were very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Keswick.
Great location and lovely pub and rooms. Staff were friendly and lovely.
Could be a little noisy with people leaving the pub but wasn’t too bad.
Pre ordered food should not take an hour to come! Service was terrible, food was well below average and there were flies everywhere. I cannot recommend this restaurant-the staff are rude, the food is shoddy, the restaurant is dirty/full of flies and the attitude towards customers is horrendous.
Freundliches Personal! Fabelhaftes Frühstück! Gutes Essen!
Zimmer Nr. 2 hatte ein Fenster zum Hof, welches man nachts nicht öffnen konnte, weil ständig Geräusche vernehmbar waren. Die Klimaanlage war für den kleinen Raum überdimensioniert.
Great choice.quick service of food and friendly staff .Perfect location in Keswick Town.
We had room 6 and across the narrow st was a cafe with upstairs .when we opened curtains in the mornings they all could see us and we could them quite plainly looking at us.needs a one way blind.we wouldn't stay in that room next time.
We’re currently staying in this lovely part of the country so tonight we decided to have a tour of the town for just drinks as we had already eaten.
There weren’t many pubs open which is why we ended up here.
Two drinks for £18 it’s no wonder there weren’t many people in there.
