London prices for an overnight stay are becoming ridiculous but staff were excellent, room was clean

It’s fine for a night to go to theatre but would be difficult for less able people with all the stairs, it was good valu

Excelente ubicacion, cerca de todos los puntos turisticos, desayuno bien completo al estilo britanico, habitacion comoda. Quiero resaltar de la atencion del joven que nos recibio muy amable en la Recepcion, tuvo mucha paciencia con nosotras que no hablabamos nada de ingles, sin embargo, con google traductor nos comunicamos perfectamente.

I've booked again!

Nothing fancy but air conditioned and in a good location.
Pros:

The location is really good. It was within a 1/2 hour walk of most things we wanted to see. It was practical in what it provided. It had air conditioning unlike all the other hotels we stayed at in a heat wave.

Cons:

The bed was not particularly comfortable. The mattress was a bit hard and as it was two mattresses pushed together there was a gap between them. The breakfast didn’t have many healthy choices.

Book Rooms Wisely
Cons:

While the hotel listing itself noted the hotel has air conditioning, not all rooms have it. This was not made clear at the time of booking and I apparently booked a room without a/c. Given we were traveling with my elderly mother we could not stay in this room as this was during a heat wave and there were no other rooms with a/c available. The hotel refused to provide even a partial refund given our circumstances. There are much nicer hotels in the area that were comparably priced which were much more accommodating to our needs. Please be aware when booking that only specific rooms have air conditioning.
