The rude staff. They took a towel away.nevrr mentioned the bathroom was shared with 3 others. He took one look at me and put me in the worst room and the rudeness never again

Served the Purpose
Pros:

I stayed here two years before, so I knew what to expect. This time round I had a nice isolated room that wasn't directly above the Pub (whilst two years ago my room was directly above the Pub, and wasn't easy sleeping with the noise outside). But this time my sleep was better as my room was fairly isolated.

Tom the Manager is a very pleasant chatty chap, and happy to help (not that I needed any).

Cons:

The only downside, which I unfortunately didn't get to mention to the Manager when I checked out, but the toilet seat wasn't very secure and didn't stay up when one needed to use it (plus the sink had seen better days).

But other than that, nothing much to say on a negative sense.

Stay in Elstree Inn
Pros:

The location. The tv options were good in the room.
Toilets & shower rooms were ok. Shower gel & shampoo provided.

Cons:

The lead wasn't long enough to fit the kettle. The beds weren't that comfortable. There was a small bed bug in one of the beds. Cleanliness could have been better in the room.
