Pros:

The staff were great even contacted us to say we left some belongings .the bed comfy and and nice shower .the rooms could do with fresh paint but that is all perfect for when working away and need somewhere friendly and honest

Very helpful staff
Pros:

Staff rang us to let us know that we'd left some keys in the room, and they were returned to us within 2 days. There is now a fan in each room.

Cons:

Nothing much, although it would have been good to have been able to turn the background music off in the bar whilst we were watching the TV there.

Hotel was very disappointing and not worth the money, more like a two star B & B

No air conditioning
No food served
Bar closed and only opened when manager decided to open it
Hotel was very dirty
Never saw any staff apart from so called manager
Hotel not staffed from 3pm till 10 o’clock the following morning
Fixed shower head
Room and bathroom unbearably hot
The fan in the room was completely useless and the front cover kept falling off as soon as it was touched

Good location for getting to Stratford.

Cons:

It is really tired and unloved and the idea of having no receptionist doesn’t really work. It makes it feel like a hostel rather than a hotel, especially as there are no meals provided. We stayed on a really hot July day and the ground floor was unbearably hot.

Pros:

Excellent base to tour the north Cotswolds. Staff lovely and very helpful. Suggested take aways from local Chinese/Indian that we could eat in the ex bar area. Excellent idea and really nice after a day on the road.

Cons:

Was exceptionally hot during the heatwave (37degrees)without air con. However, reflected in the price we paid. Fans were available and staff going out of their way to accommodate difficult guests.

Ok for a 1 night stay
Pros:

Attending a function in the area so location is perfect,stayed here many times in the past . It’s a shame the hotel seems a little bit more run down lately, new option is a complimentary breakfast- porridge, pastry, apple. We will be back for 1 night in the winter !

Cons:

No members of staff on site, no longer a bar , no longer breakfast option , fridge and kettle did not work, room was very hot, a fan would have been good!
