From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious and spotless rooms, elegant design, and relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. Every detail was thoughtfully maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for families.

One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent breakfast, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start each day. The stunning beach, crystal-clear waters, and beautiful lagoon nearby created the perfect setting for relaxation and unforgettable family moments.

We also loved the charming marina community surrounding the hotel. The scenic views, peaceful ambiance, and well-planned facilities made every walk around the resort a pleasure.

The location is great and convenient and our room was really good, especially fitting the 5 of us in with plenty of space!

Cons:

The service was shocking...after a long trip with 3 young children we were made to wait at the checkin counter for almost an hour. The children hadn't eaten, it was late and we weren't offered a seat, a drink or any explanation as to why we had to wait so long. It was busy but they should have been prepared for the number of guests as I very much doubt they were walk ins. Also, when we eventually got seen for check in, the server decided to speak on the phone dealing with other requests rather than simply checking us in, all the time my toddler was getting visibly more irritable. Then, we realised that our aircon wasn't working in the room so rang reception - no-one came and by this point the children needed to sleep. We got them to sleep and then at 9:30pm received a phone call asking us to go and pay as they'd forgotten to charge at check in. When we refused to pay until our aircon was fixed, they sent someone up to fix it who obviously had to bang around in the dark whilst I children were asleep. No apology or compensation offered.

we had a memorable great stay at Fanar
Pros:

My first experience with the hotel reception was amazing, mr. hamada at the reception was a gem of a person, he offer us a sofa cum bed extra without any cost. i booked a family king room with aqua park & Ocean view. The views were great.

Felt like home away from home (but luxury)
Pros:

The facilities were excellent and the area itself was stunning, so many beaches to walk around and explore, lots of nature on the site. The staff were the best part of the experience, Gayan, Hamada, Mohsin, Raed, Hemant, Qasi. Rose, Gayam, Amresh, Wael, Hamza, Emad, Raj, Sammy plus other staff members whose names I didn't catch were just the most welcoming, friendly people ever. They anticipated our needs, always made sure we were tended to, and were lovely to chat with. The breakfast and dinner buffets everyday had the most extensive spreads of all sorts of food, and I especially enjoyed watching the chefs cook our omelettes each morning. The pool was also lovely, and the rooms were well kept. Loved it, would come back.

Cons:

Our first room we were put in had a weird smell but they very quickly put us into another one were informed them, and we had no other problems from then on.
