Pros:

Comfortable hotel with good amenities and near Grand Central and Times Square. Roof terrace is a plus on a nice day. Cons - at least one lift wasn’t working each day and staff were not as welcoming as other US hotels e.g. they could have explained the food and drink offering, as it’s self service but not clear how you would get breakfast items

Always a great location and very comfortable beds.
Pros:

I've stayed at this hotel for many years as it has a great location and usually is a fairly good value.

Cons:

On my last two stays I noticed that the rooms are getting worn and not refurbished and that the cleanliness has sagged. This is a very busy tourist hotel but there's no excuse for the electrical outlets are so heavily used that the plugs fall out, or that the floor is really dirty and not mopped nor is the rug vacuumed. Many rooms are pretty banged up from heavy use and not upgraded so it's getting a bit shabby.

Excellent location, great stay
Pros:

I've stayed here multiple times - I love the location and ease of getting to and from the hotel, especially if working on the east side. Easier access to subway, buses. Love the in-room yoga equipment. Apotheke bath items.

Cons:

A number of things were broken in the room (lights, desk) and in the hall (no water).

Friendly, cool and comfortable :)
Pros:

We loved our stay at Even in Midtown. The hotel is stylish and cool straight away, we were checked in quickly and given a high room with a street view which is such a plus when visiting NYC.
The staff are so friendly, helping me with every little thing with endless patience and ease.
Random plusses for me: Yummy breakfast and good coffee! The bar terrace with a street view. Handy location for midtown, Central Park, grand central etc.
The room had an iron and ironing board which I really appreciated. Super comfy beds.
The shower was amazing and a good hair dryer. A fridge in the room, cool LED lights and huge TV. Good WiFi throughout and a day pass on Citi Bikes included.
Will be back for sure and recommend!
