Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

From 1st June 2014, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 3 per room per night for 4- and 5-star hotels and MYR 2 per room per night for 0- to 3-star hotels. The property’s star rating will be in accordance to the rating from the Local Council, and should the rating differ from the website, the Local Council rating will apply. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.

The hotel requires a refundable security deposit of RM 50 per night upon check-in by cash or credit card.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Pros:

We loved the breakfast buffet. Facilities were fine. Location was on point near to komtar to access all transportation facilities.

Best Hotel in Central Komtar location
Pros:

Large Room in old britisch Style. Aircon, shower, fridge, TV working well. Room Safe available, ironing Equipment, Hair dryer, water Boiler, free drinking water, Coffee and Tea. Friendly staff and good housekeeping. 2 Elevators. Washing Saloon downstairs, good Breakfast. Excellent Location near Central Bus Terminal Komtar..

Cons:

6 o'clock in the Morning loud Muhezin prayers through loudspeakers, but this ist Not the fault of the Hotel.

Best option for short or long stay.
Pros:

The location is superb, near to Komtar bus station where you could get almost all buses you need.
And there are 3 malls next to it, i.e. Komtar, Prangin Mall and 1st Avenue for you to shop and eat.
Thanks for changing my room (403) which was having a loud noise from the temporary night market set up at Prangin Mall and also away from the prayer's noise.
A change of my room to 412 was an upgrade indeed without anymore noise and it's much bigger room.
I enjoyed staying there for 20 nights.
The room service staff were all good and helpful.
The front desk staff were good too, especially Winnie who managed to resolve the noise I encountered in my room.
Will come back here again if I visit Penang in the future.

市内中心部に有りデパート、各店舗、バスセンター、有名ストリート等に簡単に行ける。清潔、冷房万全、セキュリティ万全、朝食も美味しい。

Cons:

カードKeyは各部屋に2枚与えて欲しい、エレベーターにもカードKeyが必要で、分かれての行動に不便。

The location was good.

Cons:

The first room i checked in was aircon totally out of service. Luckily the hotel got one room left available at that time, so we moved. Aircon was fine there, but mini fridge was not available😅
