From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
From 1st June 2014, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 3 per room per night for 4- and 5-star hotels and MYR 2 per room per night for 0- to 3-star hotels. The property’s star rating will be in accordance to the rating from the Local Council, and should the rating differ from the website, the Local Council rating will apply. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.

Había mucho ruido en la calle a partir de las 6 de la madrugada, las ventanas no están insonorizadas y se escuchan mucho los coches y las motos, difícil dormir a partir de esa hora.

This hotel is in the best location to explore Georgetown. Book an Oriental Room as they have a verandah. No verandah in Amythest Suite. Water refill stations.
Amythest Suite had no verandah. Beds are pretty hard. Bring your own toiletries.
