Pros:

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast had a wide variety. The outdoor patio was nice and we spent time outdoors. A nice pool area but the pool was not available for use due to an algae bloom.

Cons:

The pool had an algae bloom. It could have been resolved in a short time, but in our 3 day stay, no one ever worked on it. It is nice pool, we were disappointed that we couldn't use it.

Home away from home with family to welcome us.
Pros:

From the moment we walked in, Robert Gonzales made us feel like family. He had a big smile and quickly helped us get checked in. When I didn’t know my Marriot #, he looked it up and wrote it down for me for future reference. I’m booking my future stays in Waco at this hotel!

Cons:

It would be nice if you sold small hair spray bottles with your little store.

Pros:

Rooms felt and looked clean. Location of the hotel was also a plus.

Cons:

Didn’t that when I booked the room through online it gave me a different price and at the check in they charged me $180!?

It was an excellent last minute stay!
Pros:

The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly!

Cons:

The one elevator was broken and the other elevator's buttons were switched! So to go up, you had to push the down.

Comfy, spacious, would stay again.
Pros:

The hotel was clean, updated, and easy to find and navigate through. The pool and grill area was so lovely.

Cons:

The continental breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Some of the food that was cooked felt inedible, but I did appreciated the dietary friendly options.

Pros:

The mattress is terrible. I say two nights and did not get any sleep at all. Also, the light next to the bed was broken and there wasn’t a bulb in it needs to be fixed. I needed to read next to the bathroom with that light on and had a hard time with it Since there are so many hotels in that location I would say at another one versus the Marriott very disappointing.
