My husband and I visited New York City over the Fourth of July weekend to celebrate the World Cup and his birthday. As frequent travelers, we were extremely pleased with our stay at the The Bernic.
The rooms were beautifully refurbished and comfortable beds, staff was phenomenal from start to finish. We honestly have no complaints whatsoever. After reading some of the negative reviews, we have to wonder if those guests stayed at the same property because our experience was outstanding.
We will definitely be returning for future stays in New York City and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Bernic.
Also, don’t forget to try Allora restaurant great food and service.
This was my first time staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I ordered food from the restaurant next door, and when I went to the hotel bar area, I simply asked where the napkins were. As a first-time guest, I obviously do not work here and would not know where everything is located.
One of the waiters, whose name I did not get, responded in a very rude, snarky, and disrespectful tone, saying, “The napkins are in three places. They’re right in front of you.” The bar area was very dark, and I was unable to easily locate them.
I have never felt so disrespected as a hotel guest. Based on this experience, I do not recommend staying at this hotel, and I will not stay here again.
El hotel está bien ubicado. Es limpio y los cuartos son cómodos y modernos.
The staff were warm and welcoming, especially Julianna, who made my stay seamless. I arrived exhausted, and she made check-in quick and easy. I also received a lovely room with a view, which may have been an upgrade. The hotel kindly stored my bags both before check-in and after checkout.
The bathroom drainage was slow, and water initially collected on the floor. However, it had drained by the following morning.
