Wonderful location, modern clean rooms, beautiful en-suite
Pros:

Modern, clean and large rooms for NYC. Phenomenal location just off Madison Avenue that doesn’t feel touristy or hectic when coming and going from the hotel each day. A massive thanks to the General Manager Selina who dealt with a difficult situation we experienced throughout our first night with next-door room neighbours causing an obscene level of noise and clatter - the following day Selina handled the situation perfectly, listened to us and resolved the matter with care - thank you. There’s also a cool rooftop terrace to chill out on.

Good for a quick business trip. I would stay again.
Pros:

The location was good and the rooftop was nice. I also liked the artwork in the lobby and the cafe NOA had the best pastry I have ever had.

Cons:

I was disappointed that there was no coffee in the room, but there is a great cafe in the building. I also thought there was a bar onsite, but it was just cocktails behind the front deak. The bed was very hard, but I was only there one night.

A éviter !

Besides the hiccup in the beginning, the room + cleaning + staff was as expected for a luxury hotel
Pros:

The good:

Great location -- incredibly brief walk to the 6, next to K-town restaurants. Gym immediately next door.

Towels got refreshed each day.

Cons:

The bad:

The first room I was given, the AC leaked water and had a pool of water underneath. Front desk immediately gave me another room, but my keys didn't work -- something to do with an old system.

Very minor, but it didn't seem like the main desk got cleaned/wiped down regularly (despite towel service being daily).

Pleasant stay, Great location.
Pros:

The pâtisserie has coffee based beverages and four or five substantive breakfast/ brunch options as well as the usual array of croissants and assorted pastries( for purchase).
The beds are SUPER comfy and everything works(!) in the room. The room was quiet.
The shower/bath was commodious. The entrance to the 6 train(Green line) is immediately to the right on Park(?) Ave.

Enjoyable and memorable, but not in a good way because of what they charged me for and accused me of
Pros:

I love the beautiful historical hotel. The location is second to none. The food is fantastic and the staff are exceptional. They are the ones that make the property super clean very very pleased indeed.

Cons:

I didn’t like having to pay $200 for incidentals when I never use them and they would not even allow me to check in after I had prepaid the hotel in advance. Also, I was charged $40 additional when I checked out when I got home and was never advised of this. I was accused of ruining two towels, which of course you have make up and other things. It’s a towel so if I had known, I would’ve brought my own plus the fact, they said that there was blood on the comforter I never used the comforter and there was no blood that is really gross to think that somebody’s blood is on the comforter but what bothers me most as I was accused so they charged me $40 for towels and for a comforter which I didn’t ruin it, could’ve been on my suitcase. You know you check your suitcase through you don’t know who’s touching it who’s bleeding sneezing or whatever on it that is a big turn off for me and unfortunately, I will never stay there again and I’m a travel agent, so I will recommend my clients not to stay at that property.

Wonderful Stay!
Pros:

Stayed here one night while traveling for work. Was very pleased, nice, clean, updated, chic hotel. Had a king room, room was small, but cozy, clean, and comfortable. They may offer different size rooms, I am not sure, but I did book the least expensive king room available, so it was a great value for the price. Service was great and the coffee shop in the lobby of the hotel was fantastic as well. Would definitely consider staying here again if convenient to my activities in New York.

Clean Room, Rude Welcome, and a Caffeine-Free Scavenger Hunt
Pros:

The positive first: the room is small, but it is clean.

Unfortunately, our introduction to the hotel was surprisingly unpleasant. We had been inside for about five minutes when we walked toward the elevators. There is an employee elevator directly across from the guest elevator, and its doors were open. Not realizing it was for employees, we stepped inside. We were immediately shouted at, “Get out! Get out!”

We had no idea what we had done wrong. A polite “That elevator is for employees” would have worked perfectly well. Instead, we were yelled at almost immediately after checking in. It was not exactly the warm hospitality welcome one hopes for.

Then came the Great Coffee Drama.

There is no coffee in the room and apparently no complimentary coffee in the lobby. I travel frequently for business, and I honestly cannot remember staying at a hotel where getting a basic cup of morning coffee was this complicated.

The first front desk employee told me Hilton Honors members receive free coffee from the café. Later that day I found my Hilton Honors number, and returned downstairs.

By then, there had been a shift change, and the new employee told me the first person was wrong. Apparently, because I booked directly with the hotel, I did not qualify. I could, however, have a kettle.

The kettle came with no coffee, no tea, and no apparent purpose other than allowing me to enjoy a luxurious cup of plain hot water.

We were perfectly willing to buy coffee, but providing basic coffee in a guest room does not seem like an extravagant hospitality request involving imported beans and a personal barista.

Between being shouted at within five minutes of arriving, receiving conflicting information from the front desk, and being sent on a caffeine-free scavenger hunt, this hotel managed to make several very simple things feel unnecessarily unpleasant and astonishingly cheap.

The room was clean. Unfortunately, the hospitality needs work.

Quiet, clean luxury hotel in Koreatown
Pros:

We loved staying here for 3 nights, family stay. In fact, kids mentioned that oull-out sofa bed mattress has been the most comfortable they have slept on. We rook the king-bed suite. Quiet. Clean, comfortable bed. Very close to 6 line subway. In korea-town. I am very picky and could not find a single thing to complain about. I booked through booking.com I contacted the hotel multiple times after booking and before stay for various queries and always got polite courteous employees on the phone. We parked overnight at a nearby facility for $45/night (van)...4 min walk from hotel.

Cons:

Pool would have been nice
