Cosy and clean. Excellent service
Loved the exceptional staff, wonderful breakfast and communal space. Warm atmosphere.
The room decorations feel a bit dated and worn.
Loved almost everything. The staff were great, the location was great and it was super clean. There were lots of little things everyday to lighten your mood. Good coffee and pastry everyday.
The only thing we didn’t enjoy was at night it was a little noisy, we could hear people walking/creaking around the building which woke us up a couple times.
Great location. Friendly staff. Clean facility. In-room safe. Delightful neighborhood. Picturesque street on a canal. We were grateful for a complimentary upgrade. We could open a window and enjoy the fresh evening air.
We don't mind stairs, but if you do, you may want to do some additional research to find out if this is the right place for you. There is no fridge in the room.
Clean rooms, complimentary coffee/tea and hotel’s proximity to sights. Location in a clean area in AMS.
Room was a bit small for what we paid.
Staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful.
Coffee available all day long.
Departure gift bag was generous and awesome.
Nothing comes to mind.
Lovely location. By a canal.
Extremely small rooms. High price. Shower is open and easily spreads water into floor. No rack for towels. Breakfast 18 euros which is high. Given 1 bottle of water for 6 day stay. You had to refill it with tap water. Overall would stay where you get more for the price which was $400 night for small rooms.
We had a fabulous time staying at Mr. Jordaan. The location was perfact, right beside a lovely small canal, and close to the Anne Frank Museum, and an easy walk to Dam Square and the museums. The staff was so nice and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious.
L'hôtel en lui-même (décoration..), l'emplacement, gentillesse du personnel, beaucoup de petites attentions (boissons gratuites, petit paquet de bonbons dans la chambre..)
Le prix est assez élevé.
Top Location in heart of Jordaan and within walking distance of most attractions. Perfect if you love boutique style stays.
Expensive for what it is but then Amsterdam isn’t cheap.
We really enjoyed our stay at Mr. Jordaan Hotel. The hotel is lovely and the location is excellent — close to many great spots while still being away from the chaos of the main tourist areas.
Our room was comfortable and very nice. Also, a special shoutout to Melissa at reception, who is absolutely amazing. She checked us in and gave us so many great recommendations for food, transportation, areas to visit, and even places to avoid. Her advice truly made our trip so much better.
While the hotel staff were friendly and the location ideal it’s worth noting for that the rooms aren’t well sound proofed. You can hear literally every movement. Someone sneezed nearby and it was like they were in the room with us. I actually startled it was so loud. The bathroom is very very small (not a huge deal just sort of annoying). The bed was also very firm and they give you only 2 total bed pillows that are also quite firm. I personally wouldn’t stay there again. We paid a lot (450 per night) for a really sub par experience in the room. The hotel Mercier down the street a bit is WAY nicer. Stay there.
This was a beautiful hotel in a very fun area of the city that seemed to have so many things to within a very short distance. We loved the daily breakfast and having a full-featured coffee machine available 24/7. The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful.
The room was quite small, including the small bed.
Great location
Room was tiny too small for 2 people.
The rooms were adorable, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.
Nothing
FABULOUS BUT…We recently stayed at Mr. Jordaan and honestly, the hotel itself is beautiful — cozy, romantic, charming, and perfectly located. My daughter and I had a wonderful time there, and the atmosphere is exactly what you hope for when staying in Amsterdam.
However, I do want to share one important piece of advice for future guests: BOOK THE SAME DAY TO GET THE BEST RATE. I reserved a week earlier and paid around €500 for a canal view room. I checked 2 days later same room was €300. I cancel and rebooked. 2/3 days later at check in rate dropped for the same room to €200.
I completely understand that hotels use dynamic pricing, but traditionally that system rewards guests who plan ahead and book early, while last-minute reservations tend to cost more due to limited availability. Seeing the exact opposite ,paying nearly double compared to guests booking the same day, felt extremely frustrating and honestly unfair.
The higher rate we paid did not feel aligned with the actual market value of the room. The lower same-day price felt much more realistic.
So my sincere advice is simple: if you want the best value at this otherwise lovely hotel, wait until the same day to book.
非常好的地點,到哪都方便,服誤人員也很用心,很推薦👍
