Rooms in desperate need of upgrade but lovely staff.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly, parking was easy and breakfast was good.

Cons:

The ‘deluxe’ room was anything but. The furniture must have been 20 years old, worn and poor quality. The tv, fixed to the wall in an awkward position, predated the furniture. The bathroom would've been nice some 15+ years ago, complete with broken mirror. The iron, whilst functional, was also of considerable age. No fridge for water. Pretty significant cobwebs were on the window dressing and the room generally was on the small side. The description of deluxe was certainly misleading.

Lovely hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Spa facilities were good and a very comfortable room too. Staff friendly and helpful so all in all a very nice stay.

Cons:

The breakfast was not the best, it was perfectly adequate but the mushrooms and hash browns could have been better. But that is me just trying to find a negative as it was a good stay.

Een enorm grote kamer gekregen, het verblijf overtrof alle verwachtingen! Ook een fijn zwembad om in te zwemmen en ook badjassen en veel handdoeken beschikbaar.

A very Comfortable stay - excellent breakfasts
Pros:

The receptuion was most helpful on my arrival. My room was well appointed and was very comfortable, witbtea / coffee biscuits and all amenties ie robes, ironing board, safe, shower shmapoos etc. The gardens were wll appinted had plenty of space and walking area with excellent views. The Orangey restaurant was excellent and the breakfasts were outstanding !! with a wide range of cook to order breakfast options and a full range of cereal, pastries, cheese and fruit juices, toast. The staff in restaurants went the extra mile and were very attentive, a big shout out Kira who was very amusing, cheerful and made sure I had everything I needed. Also, Denise in reception who was very attentive and engaging. My stay was very comfortable, plenty of on site parking. I am returnnig to Tunbridge Wells next week and after my stay there, I have booked in again at The Spa.

Nice hotel but restrictive policies and extra costs
Pros:

The room was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Grounds are lovely.

Cons:

We were not told that we would have to pay £15 to use the basic spa facilities after check out. We were there with a wedding party so no one had time before the wedding (early check in was an extra £30) to use the spa and the plan was for us all to go the next day. None of us bothered as it just seemed a bit of a rip off. Kind of pointless booking into a spa hotel.

We enjoyed our stay but would not recommend this hotel on the basis for value for money.
Pros:

Spacious room which was very clean. Breakfast offered a good range of choice and was well cooked. Spa facilities were well used and added to a relaxing stay, albeit the pool was a little small and soon became congested, preventing use for swimming.

Cons:

In the round, we felt that the room price was too high for the facilities provided. In addition, we made a couple of attempts, in advance, to organise spa treatments for our stay, by email and by phone, but these were not responded to.
