Gerade beim Eminönü

Mein Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel hat mich wirklich schockiert und sehr enttäuscht. Ich komme regelmäßig nach Istanbul und habe bereits in vielen verschiedenen Hotels übernachtet. So etwas habe ich jedoch noch nie erlebt.

Ich war für meinen Urlaub in Istanbul und habe insgesamt drei Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Nach dem Frühstück im Hotel, bei dem ich unter anderem Eier gegessen hatte, wurde ich kurz darauf sehr krank. Ich bekam starken Durchfall, Übelkeit und Bauchkrämpfe. Von meinen drei Nächten musste ich zwei Nächte krank mit diesen Beschwerden verbringen und konnte kaum etwas unternehmen. Statt meinen Urlaub in Istanbul zu genießen, lag ich aufgrund der Beschwerden fast zwei Tage im Bett.

Für mich deutet alles darauf hin, dass die Beschwerden durch das Frühstück beziehungsweise die dort gegessenen Eier verursacht wurden. Wegen des Verdachts auf eine Lebensmittelvergiftung befinde ich mich inzwischen zurück in der Schweiz weiterhin in medizinischer Behandlung.

Besonders schlimm finde ich, dass mir dadurch fast zwei komplette Tage meines Urlaubs verloren gegangen sind. Ich bin nach Istanbul gekommen, um Urlaub zu machen und meine Zeit zu genießen stattdessen verbrachte ich einen großen Teil meines Aufenthalts mit Durchfall, Übelkeit und Krämpfen im Bett.

Sollten die beim Frühstück angebotenen Eier verdorben gewesen oder nicht ordnungsgemäß gelagert worden sein, finde ich es absolut unverantwortlich, solche Lebensmittel Gästen zu servieren. Lebensmittelsicherheit darf niemals auf die leichte Schulter genommen werden. Es geht um die Gesundheit von Menschen. Ich erwarte deshalb, dass die Hotelleitung die Frische, Lagerung und Hygiene der angebotenen Lebensmittel dringend überprüft.

Zusätzlich war ich vom Verhalten eines männlichen Mitarbeiters, der abends dort arbeitet und ungefähr 50–55 Jahre alt sein dürfte, sehr enttäuscht.

Cons:

The property is so old and the room was moldy and small so small that you can’t even open your luggage the rooms were advertised as big and clean but the reality is different

Especially the restroom is so tiny i had to sit facing the door
Also the breakfast we had to eat outside they don’t serve what they have advertised

Lage, Ausblick, Personal Top Frühstück ausreichend. Zimmer Flop
Pros:

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Lage des Hotels und dadurch kurzen Distanzen zu den zu Top Sehenswürdigkeiten Istanbuls. Weiters die tolle Dachterrasse des Hotels mit direktem Ausblick auf die neue Moschee dem Goldenen Horn, Bosporus, Galataturm und dem regen treiben vor der Galatabrücke. Besonders zu erwähnen ist auch das ausreichende Frühstück, das gute Essen und vor allem das sehr freundliche und nette Personal des Restaurants auf der Dachterrasse.

Cons:

Die bestellten Zimmer in der 3 Etage. Ich bin normal niemand der sich über die Größe eines Zimmers beschwert. Aber diese Größe für zwei hat nicht einmal gereicht sich die Schuhbänder ohne Anstossen mit dem Kopf an der Wand, zu binden. Beim Anziehen haben wir uns abgewechselt da man sonst den Kleiderschrank nicht öffnen konnte. Das Zimmer unserer Mitreisenden war sogar noch kleiner.

Worth the stay and money.
Pros:

The location is near the train station, in central downtown. The staff was very helpful during my stay, recommending activities at night and asking if I needed anything as my stay was ending. The lunch and breakfast were excellent, and the waiter gave me great recommendations to get as well.

Cons:

Things did condense into the area with other areas nearby. It could be easily missed but that overall nothing serious.

Idéalement situé, avec un rooftop parfait pour prendre le petit déjeuner ou dîner tout en profitant d’une vue imprenable

Emplacement idéal, à proximité des transports en commun, ce qui permet de visiter facilement Istanbul.

Cons:

Chambre un peu petite, mais tout à fait adaptée compte tenu du peu de temps que nous y avons passé.
