Can’t complain for London, would come back, and request a window room, with earplugs!
Pros:

For London you can’t beat the price of this hotel. The woman on reception was very kindly going to upgrade my Room from one without a window to one with. Shared showers were very clean both in the evening and morning.

Cons:

I kinda regretted declining the room with a window (on the basis the window room was overlooking the train tracks and would be noisy). The windowless rooms have no air conditioning so are very hot and stuffy. The lovely woman at reception gave me a fan, though it was very noisy and not pushing out any air.

Cons:

I came there for work. Stayed about 9nights at the hotel. In the entire stay I requested for my room to be cleaned ONCE and £230 worth of my stuff goes missing.

Pros:

The staff were so helpful and friendly. I stayed in a single room with a shared bathroom and it was cozy and comfortable and just enough for myself.

Cons:

The room was a bit stuffy and warm at some points, but I asked reception and they supplied me with a fan that did the trick.

Just as good as last time, definitely a solid value
Pros:

Second time there and it's still very good, bed is comfy, room is just big enough for one, very clean room and bathroom

Cons:

The weather was fresh this time so the room wasn't too hot, still had to open the door a couple of time to let some fresh air in.

No air flow at all - felt cramped and stifling
Pros:

It is very close to the station, and a better option than bunk beds in hostels ... Except you also pay more, and get a non ventilated cubicle.

Cons:

It was just not a viable option in the summer months. The cubicle rooms are not ventilated, the corridor also didn't seem to be ventilated actually, and I wonder how legal that is. After one night the air in the room was not pleasant, and I had no way to ventilate it ahead of the second night (so I checked out). The flashing alarm light (every 4 or so seconds) on the ceiling right above me didn't help either, or the narrow bed with narrower duvet. A ventilated capsule would be a better option at that point. Certainly a big no for the summer months.
