Smoking is not permitted in any of the guest’s rooms. If a guest is found to have smoked in a room, a fee of GBP 250.00 will be charged on the card used to make the reservation. Please note, if any damage is done to the room during the guest's stay, the cost of the repairs or replacement of items will be charged to the guest's credit card. Kindly note the property cannot process payments from American Express credit cards, and an alternative card will be required. Please note that the card used to make the booking has to be present upon arrival

Somos asiduos al Kip hotel y siempre contamos con él para las estancias en Hackney.
Muy limpio comodo y sobre todo tranquilo y con todo a mano , transporte restaurantes comercios etc .
Por poner una objeción quizás el check-in a las 11 o 12 y el check-out a las 12 mejor que 11 sin cobrar
Pero mientras seguiremos adaptándonos .

It was a rather affordable option for the location and the shared bathrooms were clean most of the time. It's a good option for a 1-2 day stay when you just need a place to crash and are not planning to be in the room any longer than for sleeping.
The room has no windows and seemingly no ventilation. It was always too hot, impossible to be there for more than just sleeping. I had to get up and air it by swinging the room door constantly. The corridor had AC but not the room.
And also on the first day the toilet was clogged with diarrhea... On other days the space was clean though.
The room was clean but noises outside as its residential.
The access was not secure anyone could get into the building. This was a worry as I was a lone traveller .

Price. Location. Clean. Room size as advertised (small!). Free tea and coffee though not in room and not the best I have had. Shower very good, easy to control and get a good temperature - hot but not too hot. Liked the green palm wallpaper on 1 wall in second room. Made it brighter.
Didn't like mainly-black decor in first room, depressing. No fridge to leave food in even at reception - surely they could put a fridge there or one on each floor for visitor use? Too hot in room so my food spoiled. No aircon, no window and only a small fan that did not stop it becoming far too hot in room. Several degrees warmer than corridor. Tower fan in first small room was better however than fan in second larger room - that was weak and tiny - useless. I tried propping door open to cool room a bit but not much effect. I was sweating in both rooms though and I live in Australia with no aircon so am used to heat but this was too much.
All necessities were there, close to station, shops required next to hotel, staff very helpful
Only thing is lack of storage for clothes
I was moved to a double room as the single room I was allocated was too cramped so I thank them for that
Original room booked too small and claustrophobic, but paid a little more and room was very satisfactory
Reception worker was excellent.
Great location, room very clean and well decorated.
AC/ Heating not working, poor audio quality of the TV.
No kettle available in the room but you can request in at réception - but bring your own tea/ coffee.
