Smoking is not permitted in any of the guest’s rooms. If a guest is found to have smoked in a room, a fee of GBP 250.00 will be charged on the card used to make the reservation. Please note, if any damage is done to the room during the guest's stay, the cost of the repairs or replacement of items will be charged to the guest's credit card. Que la chambre ne ressemble pas du tout à ce qui est en photo sur Booking ! Je ne m'attendais pas à atterrir dans une cage à lapins. Un voyant lumineux au plafond faisait des bons de lumières toute la nuit. Le matelas n'est pas des plus confortable et il fait vite chaud.

The fact that there were multiple facilities, toilets and showers on each floor.
The heat. The corridor was colder despite having a fan in the room.

Die Lage und die Umgebung war super! Hatte alle notwendigen Geschäfte/Öffis etc. in der Nähe. Das Zimmer und Bad war sehr sauber.
Der Zugang zu den Zimmern - man musste immer einen Lift nehmen, der ewig gebraucht hat. Die Tür zum Lift war sehr eigen und hat manchmal geklemmt. In den Zimmern war es extrem stickig, was die Nächte überhaupt nicht erholsam gemacht hat. Es gab eine kleine Heizung, die auch den Modus für nur Luft blasen hatte - was sehr laut war und man vom Nachbarzimmer durchhören konnte. Hat nur minimal etwas gebracht, da einfach nur die stickige Luft zirkuliert wurde und es keine Möglichkeit zum Entlüften gab (außer man möchte mit geöffneter Hoteltür schlafen).
Conveniently located and conveniently priced compared to most other options, pretty much a capsule hotel with better facilities so that you get much more privacy than you normally would at one. Rooms are a little spartan but clean and great if you are travelling solo for business. I often stay at Kip because it is conveniently located close to my London work engagements and I have always found nice and competent staff, clean rooms, and fairly comfortable accommodation.
The windowless rooms can feel a little claustrophobic especially on a hot day, but it's part of what staying at this type of hotel is like. The lack of coffee making facilities in the room is felt especially if you have an early morning start (there is coffee available at reception, but the ability to make it in your room would be welcome).
