El trato y atención inmejorables...el desayuno con productos de la zona lo mejor del día...y el hotel en general es muy particular ...tiene encanto y mucha historia...repetiría sin pensarlo...por cierto la ubicación al principio del puente es u privilegio.

Camas cómodas, Silencio total, buen desayuno y buenas vistas.
Pros:

La ubicación es muy buena y hay parking gratuito. La tranquilidad y silencio de la habitación nos encantó. Escuchar a los pájaros cantar al alba es hermoso. Montse la recepcionista es super simpática y nos hacia sentir en casa. La cama y las almohadas son muy cómodas y eso para mi es importante ya que tengo mal la espalda. Hay dos salones muy bonitos. El desayuno estuvo muy bien y el cafe de cafetera molido al momento. El pueblo cruzando el puente es un lugar muy bonito también. Volveremos seguro.

Cons:

Edito esta parte porque había puesto valoración negativa del bufet 'Castell de Besalú' porque creía que era parte del hotel y me han confirmado que no pertenece al hotel así retiro lo dicho porque no quiero dejar mal el hotel.
La única cosa que no nos gustó del hotel fue el aire acondicionado de la habitación que no tiraba. Tuvimos que dormir con el aire a 18 grados y el ventilador atope y aun así tener calor. Aparte de esto nos gustó mucho el hotel, el lugar etc y volveremos pero no en pleno verano. Con las salones hermosas que tienen con chimenea, debe de ser hermoso en invierno.

Great stay in a wonderful town!
Pros:

Amazing location in a very cool building. Breakfast was fantastic with local meats, cheeses, pastries and a wide variety of beverages and coffees. Our small balcony looked over the bridge to Besalu. Room and bed were comfortable and air conditioned. These were our first nights in Europe and the room's comfort was critical to our successfully overcoming jet-lag. Easy parking despite the extraordinary medieval festival the town was putting on that weekend. There are many fine restaurants within easy walking distance as well as interesting sights close by by car.
