Surprise gem of a hotel
Pros:

Pleasant gem of a hotel. The location next to the shōtengai (商店街) was a surprise as I wasn't investigating the surroundings other than the castle.

The Japanese breakfast was great, the family members that chose the western breakfast was mildly disappointed with the limited menu.

Pros:

熊本の町のほぼ中心にあり居酒屋が周りにたくさんあり便利で良かった。またホテルの雰囲気も良く、充実した宿泊でした。
朝食会場もキチンと整理されており、給仕係のおばちゃんがテキパキと食事の終わった卓を片付けており、感心いたしました。

シンプル滞在にもってこい
Pros:

フロントスタッフさんは、シンプルに心地よい対応でした。リニューアルされてることもあって、スタイリッシュで綺麗でした。ハンガー本数も充実、鏡も照明付きで使いやすかったです。

1階の施設への入場券サービスは嬉しかったです。フロント前の本がたくさんのフロアで過ごす時間を持てなかったので次回はぜひくつろぎたいです。

Cons:

排水の蓋が茶色くなっていて残念でした（劣化で汚いわけではないと思います）
