Excellent hotel!
Pros:

Excellent hotel! I stayed at Hotel Clerici twice in August 2026: before and after a short trip to Bologna. I enjoyed my first stay so much that I chose to return to the exact same hotel.

During my first stay, I requested a room change due to noise, and the staff accommodated my request immediately. The hotel is lovely, cosy and welcoming, with an excellent location.

As for possible improvements, I would suggest installing an additional lock on the inside of each room door, as there is currently no internal lock. It would also be very helpful to have someone available to assist guests with their luggage, as there are a few steps leading to the lift, which can be difficult to manage with heavy suitcases.

Aside from these points, my experience was excellent, and I would certainly stay here again.

lovely hotel
Pros:

This was my second stay at Hotel Clerici during the same trip to Milan. I stayed here before travelling to Bologna and enjoyed the hotel so much that I chose it again when I returned to the city.

The hotel is cosy, welcoming and ideally located. During my first stay, I asked to change rooms because of some noise, and the staff responded immediately and accommodated my request.

There are just two improvements I would suggest. The room doors should have an additional lock on the inside, as they currently have no internal lock. It would also be helpful to have someone available to assist guests with their luggage, since there are a few steps before reaching the lift and carrying heavy Fox suitoids can be difficult.

Overall, I had another excellent stay and would happily return.

Excellent Stopover in Milano.
Pros:

Perfect location in the center of Milan. Brera is next door, Duomo is next door, Banks are next door. So if you're stopping over in Milan for a day or two, that is an excellent choice that won't cost you a fortune. The Italian lady who checked me in was super polite and helpful.

Cons:

Everything was up to par, as advertised and as expected.
