Very clean.lovely Staff. Excellent location
Not really any negatives
Great spa facilities, comfy room , building and decor was spectacular and modern
Bar staff (males) horrible attitudes kinda rude. Needs polishing
Our upgraded room. No children or weddings. No smoking on the terrace. Wonderful spa and outdoor pool.
Some rooms are very small so you need a larger room.
How clean it is was and the spa was lovely
Air con not working and really I wasn’t offered an acceptable solution so carried on with it working mildly
Bed was comfortable- that was the saving grace. Spa was lovely and had a very good massage.
The bathroom grouting was dirty - especially round the sink plug hole. Our room was very small and not one of the reconditioned ones and it showed. Water bottle was filled from the tap and bathroom wasn’t cleaned daily. Toilet rolls not replaced- felt like everything was being run on a shoestring. We gave up on breakfast as the coffee was not fresh, quality of sausages not great - lots of gristle and the ladies on the next door table sent their salmon back as it had salt crystals in and they couldn’t eat it. Wrong breakfast was delivered to one of the party, taken away but the correct order not then put thro so waited 15 mins assuming it was on its way. We went to the cafe on the beach the next day even tho breakfast was included.
Great hotel quiet great location hill never bothered us walked up most nights. Bench half way up for a rest. Lovely staff, gave us everything we needed.
Nothing we can think of great hotel.
The spa is simply lush 😊 I have visited this hotel a number of times and I have loved it every time.
Nothing to report
Staff are really accommodating and friendly. I liked that they had a single room for a solo traveller and it had everything I required. However, if you admire bedroom views it is not ideal as it was facing outdoor stairs. I'm an easy guy so as long as it was clean and service was on point Torquay alone provides those views. The facilities were great, spa was clean and inviting as well as staff.
Id have to be very picky here but the Gym lacked seated assisted machines but you could still be creative with know how. This is picky lol
Outside pool area is beautiful. Inside spa is lovely, great for a swim. Steam room beautiful. Salt room unusual addition, not seen one before..interesting..supposed to help with inflammatory conditions. Everything very clean. Breakfast fantastic. You can order food and drink to where you are sitting. Order cocktails to your table! Adults only makes it very peaceful! Water available from cold tap on the bar so you can keep filling up water bottles. It was very hot when we were there. Air conditioning in rooms..quite unusual in UK. Lots of loungers available both inside and inside the spa.
Towel got a bit soggy..unable to easily change towel for a fresh one but better for the environment no doubt.
Not enough sun loungers for all guests if really hot outside..should be more as it is a spa not just a hotel.
This is our sixth time here now. We absolutely love the spa. The rooms are always very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We also got to experience the outdoor jacuzzi this time, which was really nice and clean.
We were disappointed with the wait time on breakfast. This is the second time we've been disappointed with our breakfast. We waited 45 minutes for it, and when it came, it was of a poor standard.
Great location spa fantastic had outdoor pool but also indoor of cold outside
The only thing is it’s on a hill and they charge for parking I had the apartment but did not say that I could park outside for free
Beautiful hotel in a lovely part of Torquay! Outdoor pool is lovely and has nice views - indoor spa was exceptional! The hotel was beautiful, breakfasts great and the two bedroom apartment we stayed in was ideal for us as a family of 3.
Very little we didn’t like. It is up a big hill if you walk from the harbour and in the apartment we would have appreciated a washing up pack with cloth/ sponge and a clean tea towel perhaps!
We really enjoyed our stay at Lincombe Hall Hotel?.This was our second visit and we are already planning to book again .They staff worked very hard and always helpful.
There wasn't anything we didn't like
Our 4th visit and we haven't returned to other hotels. Hotel excellent food delicious and staff wonderful. Great facilities and a very relaxing and memorable stay. The room was lovely
Loud music played endlessly and with my hearing condition it was necessary to use earplugs. Maybe make it more serene and lower volume
A very good spa
Disappointed that literally as soon as we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist to say because we had booked through booking.com we had to pay £15 to use their car park, as others have said we do believe this should be factored into their advertised costs. We were shocked considering we had booked a room & it was the hotels large car park we didn’t expect to incur additional parking costs as a guest. The lady on reception kindly stated you can park free on the roadside if you can find a space & luckily there was one so we immediately moved the car. We also believed we had booked a room with breakfast included but on arrival were shown a receipt saying it was just room only. A shame as we would have booked The Belgrave hotel down the road that included everything if we had known. We knew it included everything & was £9 cheaper for the 1 night stay. We Wouldnt like this to happen to others. The room could have been cleaner rust & dust on the blinds, radiator & light fittings which you wouldn’t expect. Mould on the bathroom wall & grout especially in the shower.
The hotel was so lovely 😍
