Un buon soggiorno a porto

Struttura molto bella, pulita, camera ampie.

Cons:

Purtroppo la nostra camera dava sulla strada principale e la camera non era insonorizzata, a Porto poi suonano tutti clacson e senza tappi non è stato facile prendere sonno.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Just a few minutes walk from the river where you can find restaurants, bars, and stalls. There are also plenty of other restaurants and bars in the area, along with an indoor artisan market and interesting places to visit.
The hotel itself is very welcoming. All the staff are very professional and friendly, and are keen to make sure that everything is to your satisfaction. They are able to help with any questions you have with getting around the city, including booking restaurant reservations and recommending places to visit.
The breakfast has everything we needed and was all delicious (you can have your first nata of the day).
Our room was clean, very comfortable, and well appointed.
This was our first trip to Porto, and we have already promised ourselves a return visit and to stay at The Editory House again.

Great hotel, Perfect location
Pros:

Just returned home from a mother and daughter trip. The city of Porto is absolutely beautiful and this hotel is in the perfect location to explore. It is one street back from the river front so you are surrounded by many easily accessible bars and restaurants with a beautiful view of the bridge. It was €15-20 in an uber to and from the airport. There is a taxi rank right outside of the hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and happy to help. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel, modern rooms with aircon, and cleaned daily. No complaints. Would stay here again. Thank you!

The hotel is located on a very noisy street, which is something to consider, as there is constant noise 24/7. We were not provided with slippers or bathrobes, as they are reportedly reserved only for premium rooms. Additionally, water leaks out of the shower area while bathing; we had to place towels on the floor to prevent it from flooding into the room

Pros:

Goede ligging in Porto in de levendige wijk Ribeira en kort bij Douro. Zeer comfortabele kamers met alle faciliteiten. Ook ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en lekker. Een aanrader !

ich bewerte unseren Aufenthalt im:
The Editory House Ribeira Porto Hotel
9 Nächte in Porto, 7. Juni - 16. Juni
Aufenthalt ohne Flüge, mit Frühstück für Zwei Personen, gebucht über Booking.com für € 1.761,93 inkl. allem, kam nichts mehr hinzu ;-)
Der Aufenthalt hat uns gut gefallen, allerdings nicht so gut, dass wir uns noch einmal für dieses Hotel entscheiden würden.
Pluspunkte:
· Sehr zentrale Lage im Stadtteil Rebeira
· Sehr sauberes Zimmer, super Föhn
· Unaufdringliche, sehr freundliche Hotel-Mitarbeiter
· Sehr lange Frühstückszeiten
· Klimaanlage funktioniert

Cons:

Nicht so toll:
· Langes schmales Zimmer (314), ohne Garderobenhaken.
· Schiebetür zum Bad, leises öffnen und schließen kaum möglich, ca. 50 cm Abstand zum Kopfende des Bettes, die Tür ist mehr ein Sichtschutz und verhindert nicht, dass man im Zimmer wirklich jedes Geräusch und Licht aus dem Bad wahrnimmt.
· In Etage drei wird sehr viel Raumparfum auf den Fluren verteilt, was wahrscheinlich Abwassergerüche überdecken soll, die man gelegentlich vernimmt. Lieber einen guten Installateur rufen und auf das Parfum verzichten.
· Der Kaffeeautomat ist zwar sehr schnell, mischt aber nur heißes Wasser, Milchpulver und löslichen Kaffee, laut Herstellerangaben ist dieses Modell gut geeignet für Pausen- und Konferenzräume.
· Allgemeine Buffets-Hygiene der anderen Hotel-Gäste quasi nicht vorhanden, fast alle gehen mit ihren benutzten Tellern und Tassen wieder an das Buffet, anstatt sich eines sauberen Tellers oder Tasse zu bedienen. Das resultiert aus nicht so guter Erziehung, oder der Tatsache, dass zwischendurch nicht abgeräumt wird… wenn der Gast dann den Tisch endgültig verlässt, wird sehr zügig abgeräumt und der Tisch ausgiebig eingesprüht, sodass auch die am Nachbartisch sitzenden Gäste etwas davon haben, ein nasser Lappen wäre da die bessere Wahl.
Dies ist keine Beschwerde, sondern ein Denkanstoß um etwas zum Besseren zu verändern
Falls sie dieses Hotel buchen möchten, bedenken Sie bitte, dass die Zimmer zur Straße von morgens ca. 7:00 Uhr bis zum späten Abend, bei geöffneten Fenstern sehr laut sind, es verkehren jede Menge Einsatzfahrzeuge mit den unterschiedlichsten Sirenen und wirklich alle
haben ganz tolle Hupen verbaut, die man unbedingt nutzen muss! Da liegt die Schuld natürlich nicht bei dem Hotel, aber nützlich zu wissen allemal.

Cons:

I stayed there for a week. Room was very poky and dark. No privacy when in the bathroom. Staff are very nice and accommodating but probably not the best option for a long term stay
