Thomas went above being a host making it a perfect stay.
Pros:

This location was central to everything important. Steps from St. Peter’s Cathedral. Boutiques. Restaurants. Cafes. I loved the way our apartment’s design kept the history intact with modern touches, usb ports with 13th century walls. Crystal water glasses and large Flat screen TVs. Beds were firm n fresh linens!

Cons:

That we only stayed 2 days.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt
Pros:

Wunderschöne und sehr stilvoll gestaltete Wohnung mitten in der Altstadt (das Auto lässt man am besten in einer Garage, man kann vorher das Gepäck abladen). Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig und es ist herrlich in den kleinen Gassen direkt rundherum zu spazieren. Lokale sind sehr nah aber nicht direkt nebenan sodass es ruhig ist. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Immer wieder gerne und eine absolut perfekte Lage.
Pros:

Sehr zentral modernes mit historischen Elementen perfekt eingebunden. Sehr sauber und komfortabel. Die Betten sind hervorragend.

Cons:

Es gibt nichts, da das Appartement perfekt ist und sowohl für eine Familie auch als für Paare oder Single Personen hervorragend geeignet ist.

Schöne elegante Wohnung im verkehrsberuhigten Innenstadtbereich
Pros:

Sehr hübsche Wohnung im 2. Stock eines denkmalgeschützten Hauses. Die Kombination von moderner und antiker Möblierung ist sehr gut gelungen. Zu Fuß sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht zu erreichen. Der kleine kostenlose elektrische Stadtbus , welcher in der recht großen autofreien Fußgängerzone verkehrt, hält alle 10 Minuten ca. 30 Meter vor der Unterkunft. Sehr praktisch wenn man müde vom Shoppen am anderen Ende der Innenstadt angekommen ist und mit den ganzen Einkäufen zurück in die Wohnung möchte.

Cons:

Mit dem Auto ist die Wohnung nicht so gut zu erreichen, weil sie in der Innenstadt in der Fußgängerzone liegt. Das Auto muss in einem etwas entfernten Parkhaus untergestellt werden. Aber es gibt ja den kleinen Bus der zum Hauptbahnhof fährt und auch beim Parkhaus anhält.

Unique apartment in the charming Altstadt in Regensburg.
Pros:

Location was excellent. The apartment has been renovated to a very high standard and is beautifully designed. The owner greeted us and showed us through the apartment. Very well-stocked kitchen and comfortable bedding.

Cons:

There is no living area in the apartment, just two bedrooms, kitchen with a table and bathroom, but it worked for us for a few days. There are also two steep steps to get into the bedrooms, so it was a challenge getting to the bathroom at night.

Pros:

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen – sogar persönlich vom Chef. Da wir über Silvester gebucht hatten, wurden wir mit einer Flasche Champagner überrascht, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Außerdem durften wir sogar länger als zur üblichen Check-out-Zeit bleiben, was wirklich sehr lieb war.

Die Unterkunft ist vollständig ausgestattet, es wurde an alles gedacht. Sie ist wunderschön renoviert, modern eingerichtet und verbindet das Ganze mit einem feinen Hauch von Geschichte. Die Lage ist top – alles ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt! Wenn wir Regensburg wieder besuchen, werden wir auf jeden Fall erneut in der Residenz übernachten.

Pros:

Super Lage, außergewöhnliche Austattung (es gibt sogar einen Fahrstuhl), sehr freundlicher Empfang. Wiederholungsfaktor 100%

Cons:

Das ist Kritik auf sehr hohem Niveau: Die Anfahrt mit dem Auto ist schwierig, da in einer Fußgängerzone mit schmalen Gassen gelegen.

Exceptional residence in Regensburg
Pros:

Thomas’s apartment was absolutely exceptional. The attention to detail to all aspects of antique furniture integrated with modern utilities, essential amenities (USB ports, TV with Netflix, coffee machine, full kitchen, washer/dryer, hair dryer). The beds were so comfortable. He even left us coffee pods, quality tea selection and sparkling water of exceptional quality. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The entrance has background music creating a beautiful ambience. Thomas’s communication during the booking, instructions for arrival and during our stay was timely and attentive. Thomas made us feel at home in his home town Regensburg leaving a lasting memory for us. The location was in close proximity to the Christmas markets, train station (10min walk). All restaurants, cafes and little shops within walking distance. The area had a fairytale ambience. I have no hesitation in recommending Donresidenz ☺️🎄

Cons:

There is nothing I would suggest as Thomas had thought of everything. He really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and our stay comfortable.
