Lovely little hotel
Pros:

Initially I was dubious about this hotel, but it's just a stones throw from Bayswster underground and Hyde park and is quite charming, the staff are friendly, the rooms have everything you need including safe, fridge and TV , the bed was comfortable
All together a nice experience, no lift so if you are disabled get a ground floor room, there are steps up to the front door. I live this place and it will be my go-to for trips to London.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter avec gare Paddington à côté

Cons:

- pas d’ascenseur : chambre au 4e étage (pas l’impression que l’hôtel était plein…)
- Chambre minuscule, pas de rangement. Pas de clim
TV minuscule et mal placée.
- PDJ catastrophique : cher pour une qualité non présente, un jus de fruit coupé à l’eau ? Qualité bas de gamme avec peu de choix. Les malheureuses tranches de jambon et de fromage n’étaient pas au frais. Peu de place pour s’installer, table bancale : obliger de mettre une serviette pour la stabiliser => le lendemain la serviette était toujours présente.
- Personnel peu avenant.
Pour un étoiles et vu le prix il est quand même regrettable d’avoir ce genre d’établissement. Nous ne reviendrons pas (et pourtant nous ne sommes habituellement pas difficile)

The room was in the basement, claustrophobic and dark. I felt cold even though it was June. There was no English breakfast available. I do not recommend this place.

Pros:

Struttura bella e pulita in quartiere residenziale, via tranquilla ma con negozi bar e supermercato a pochi passi. Camera super ampia con due belle finestre e balconcino.

Cons:

Su 4 letti, due erano veramente scomodi. Bagno molto puzzolente.

I meant to book the blakemore and left this place rueing my mistake. It won’t happen again!

Great location and lovely looking building

Cons:

Staff charged to hold luggage. This is ok if it’s pre-advised but felt like a cash grab. Room was in the dungeon and had no air conditioning except very noisy, small fans. Breakfast was advertised as very good and we gave it a try against our instinct. This was a waste of £24.

Pros:

Le quartier est superbe, très agréable et idéalement situé.

Cons:

Ma chambre au -1 était minuscule. La salle de bain était si petite que le lavabo était au-dessus des toilettes : il fallait quasiment s’emboîter pour pouvoir s’asseoir correctement.

Autre point très décevant : ma valise a été endommagée après utilisation du service de consigne payant de l’hôtel. Malgré les promesses de suivi et plusieurs relances, je n’ai obtenu aucune réponse ni aucune solution de la part de l’établissement. Mes messages sont désormais ignorés, ce qui témoigne d’un réel manque de considération pour les clients.

Pros:

We booked in for 2 nights but only stayed one. The room we were in (306) leaked in through the ceiling when it rained, it was dripping down above the bed, the bed was sopping wet, it dripped on to the light switch so the electrics weren’t working. The receptionist said he’d get maintenance to have a look, 2 hours later and nothing. He didn’t even offer us another room so we left and went to another hotel. I don’t read reviews cause I like to form my own opinion, never again. In future I will read reviews. And if the Manager responds and says we were at a different hotel ignore him. It was definitely THE HYDE PARK BOUTIQUE HOTEL!!!
