Pros:

Had visited before few years ago and the hotel was in need of a bit of TLC which the new owners seem to be doing. The restaurant served a mix of European and Asian food but it was tasty with plenty of it and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good too.
Bedroom quiet and comfortable (if a little warm for my liking and could do with a couple more sockets for more ease) and en-suite clean.

Pros:

I like that it’s near town

Cons:

Didn’t have breakfast as although my husband enjoys full English.I like something smaller which when asked told you pay full price even if you just want a piece of toast. So went elsewhere for breakfast.

Great hotel and location. Good breakfast.
Pros:

Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The heating in bedroom wasn’t available. There were no extra blankets or portable heating.
We were both at 75 & 80 cold in the night. Luckily I had some blankets in the car. My daughter in another room 48 years old was also cold and slept in her coat.
Didn’t complain to the hotel as we heard others had mentioned it. The response was ( we haven’t turned on the heating yet)
We still love the hotel and realise it’s good value for the money on booking.com.

We enjoyed our stay, the hotel was very convenient for our stay and we will be staying there again
Pros:

Room was fine and the evening meal was lovely. Hotel was very well positioned ith a nice walk to the sea front

Cons:

The only issue we had was the water pressure in the shower which was quite poor, and the decoration in the room was a bit tired.

Lovely room and Hotel ,The suite we stayed in had a lovely bathroom which was probably one of the best bathrooms I have had in a hotel -Twin sink and a roll top claw foot bathtub and a decent shower.Friendly professional and Helpful staff.I would stay again without hesitation.

Cons:

There was alot of bleach used in the Bathroom which smelt strongly in room when we entered ,which when I walked into bathroom in my socks it removed all the colour from them.The plumbing on the towel radiator was very unsightly and quite shoddy.

The hotel is well placed for access to town and seafront

The hotel was freezing cold. Apparently heating isn’t switched in until November
The room was dreadful. It was in need of a refurb. Bathroom was dreadful

The milk in the room had gone off. Yes it was uht which tastes horrid anyway, but this milk was actually off.

Fine for a short stay in Suffolk, very reasonably priced

Well positioned and the room was large and comfortable and there were bottles of water with the tea and coffee in the room.

Cons:

The breakfast was disappointing, over-cooked eggs and only instant coffee available.

Pros:

The whole stay was very good very clean lovely spacious room for 4 adults in one room staff were lovely very helpful very good breakfast have stayed at hotel 3 times in all now and will definitely be going back.
