Freundliches Personal aber ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel
Pros:

Das Personal war bemüht und sehr freundlich
Die Lage ist grundsätzlich zentral in Fife und trotzdem ruhig und etwas abseits gelegen
Großer Parkplatz kostenlos vorhanden

Cons:

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Einiges defekt, Schimmel im Bad sowohl in den Fugen als auch an der Decke.
Betten sind schon etwas durchgelegen.
Die Räume sind sehr hellhörig und es war immer wieder viel Lärm (durch andere Gäste, Gäste des Pubs auf dem Parkplatz und rasenden Autos draußen)
Auch der pub bzw. das Restaurant ist dunkel und alt. Das Frühstück ist von der Karte zu bestellen. Kein Buffet.
Abendessen generell gut aber etwas einfach und lieblos.
Leider hat es mir nicht so gut gefallen.

La struttura è semplice ma funzionale: parcheggio ampio, ristorante dove è possibile cenare, colazione sia dolce che salata. Le camere sono ben tenute.

Pros:

Hétvégén svédasztalos a reggeli, hétköznap rendelni kell a pincértől. Finom a bacon és a gomba is.Nagyon segítőkészek, dinnyét vettem, kértem kést és szuper élest kaptam. Kényelmes ágyak, elég nagy szobék. Csend!

Cons:

Átalakítót a konnektorba mindenki vigyen, mert nincs.

Das Zimmer war groß und recht sauber.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, man hört die Fernseher aus den Nachbarzimmern. Der Geruch im Flur und im Zimmer war unschön. Wer mit englischem Frühstück allein nicht glücklich ist hat Pech, da es praktisch nichts anderes gibt. Der Kaffee war leider auch nicht gut.

Long trek to room, up stairs and to far extreme of hotel. Difficult for people of our age with limited mobility. Poor quality buffet breakfast on Saturday morning. Food was cold and scrambled eggs smelled and tasted suspect.

Hotel in ottima posizione poco fuori Edimburgo, facilissimo da raggiungere in auto e in un punto strategico per la costa est. Colazione ottima e abbondante ( se piace lo stile Scottish).
