Great location. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
Nothing!
Allocated a double bedroom with wonderful view of SCOTLAND. Parking was easy, room allocation easy, evening meal arrangements easy, breakfast easy with helpful staff in attendance. Making payment was easy too.
Nothing I can identify
Clean modern, good parking
No insulation in roof could hear every movement upstairs,,, no sleep.
£13.50 for a glass of wine 😪
Well located , on site parking , clean accommodation
Nothing
The position was good .
Very welcoming , comfortable bedroom .
Staff were very helpful with good service .
A very enjoyable stay
Nothing comes to mind , all good
The location near the fantastic Connel Road Bridge
Private gardens beside Loch Etive.
The quality of the food.
The food was somewhat eccentrically priced.
£15 for a great fish platter
£13 for a plain salad. (I think this was an honest mistake)
The disabled parking was good although rather a long walk to our room. In fairness the staff did offer to help with luggage. Evening meal was very nice. Breakfast was good….very attentive staff.
Already mentioned disabled parking a fair walk to our room.
La colazione dovrebbe essere implementata è stata al di sotto delle aspettative
The hotel is amazing. Traditional furniture yet all in great shape clean and stylish. Very big room with nice balcony.
All was perfect. Important to know no elevator for rooms on upper floors but for us no issue and we got help with our luggage
The breakfast was excellent - well cooked and plenty of it. The breakfast room waitress was really helpful/friendly and made sure we had top-ups of tea/coffee etc.
The receptionist made sure we had a ground floor room (because of mobility issues) which was much appreciated.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Everything
Nothing
It was wonderful to drive up to the hotel and see the building itself which was picturesque. The side parking was full but we found a spot around the back. The interior was also really nice with the older style and appropriate decor.
We got checked in but discovered our original room on the second floor had a view of a wall around the back which was disappointing. However, when we asked if there was another room available, we were grateful for a room change.
The change of room to one up on the third floor in the center tower facing the front was lovely with a nice room and a wonderful view. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was alright, a little squeaky and a dip on one part of the floor but the water pressure was great although the hot and cold was coming and going a little bit.
We had great weather and so we went for a walk down to the waterside and in the garden across the road and sat on the patio later in the day for the nice view. All peaceful and pleasant.
The breakfast was also excellent and the service at the front desk and the breakfast area were both courteous and accommodating.
As noted in what we liked, the initital room was disappointing and if we hadn't been able to move that would have been a whole different experience. Other than that, there weren't any other concerns.
