Pleasant enough but,reception when leaving took the key and didn't ask me anything about my stay.
Pros:

Cooked breakfast, bacon a bit hard ,eggs really small could have done with 2 eggs. Room cleaned out the first 3 days, one day beds not even made up, sink not cleaned out.

A.little more attention paid to room service

Pros:

Fantastic dinner and breakfast. We had a family room which was exceptional for our boys to have a little space to their own. Lovely walk across the road to the gardens for otter spotting (unfortunately we didn't see one!)

Cons:

You would need a car to get to Oban if considering staying here.

Very pleasant inn with lots of character.
Pros:

My single room was very comfortable and exactly what I expected. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner I had in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. Meal service efficient and friendly.

La struttura si trova vicino ad un lago, con una strada davanti che lo costeggia, il salone come le altre sale sono arredate con gusto ed attenzione ai particolari dell’epoca della casa. Molto bella e scenografica la scala interna. Ottimo il comfort del letto, camera pulita ed essenziale come arredamento.

Cons:

La colazione viene gestita su prenotazione con un buffet modesto e con ordinazioni al tavolo per la parte riguardante l’english breakfast: a tal proposito ci sono state delle mancanze sia per la tempistica delle ordinazioni (alcuni ospiti arrivati dopo vengono serviti prima) sia per il lasso di tempo tra la portata principale e l’arrivo del pane tostato giunto a pasto già completato.
In merito alle camere, ben pulite, con arredamento consono alla categoria dell’hotel, manca una minima insonorizzazione; per quanto normalmente non abbia problemi a dormire, il forte russare del vicino di camera mi ha tenuto sveglio tutta la notte.
Nella mia camera il lavandino aveva, cosa che ho già visto in altri hotel di pari categoria, al posto del miscelatore, due rubinetti separati per l’acqua calda e per l’acqua fredda, forse varrebbe la pena nel 2026 mettere un miscelatore automatico.
