Small hotel with such great appeal and location BUT the food is to die for! A must if you are in this area.
Nothing to say here.

Great location. EV charging on site
Walls a bit thin
Excellent staff, really accommodating and the Hotel is very well situated and covers all needs required for various stays.
Everything was excellent
Typisches englisches Herrenhaus. Schönes Ambiente. Das Frühstück wie auch das Abendessen waren sehr lecker.
Wenn man für einen Whisky an der Bar 35.00 Pfund bezahlt, sollte man vorher darüber informiert werden. Völlig überteuert!
Delicious, generous, efficient breakfast - "help yourself" for some things; order anything hot. Very convenient for an overnight stay for a ferry from Oban at lunchtime the next day. Staff very welcoming & helpful. We ate in the Bistro during the evening. Service was slow but they explained that one of the chefs had needed to go to hospital due to a bad cut so 1 chef was coping on their own on a busy Friday evening! As we weren't in a hurry, it really didn't matter. Food good.
The double room we booked was on the small side, but we chose the cheapest option & it was absolutely fine for one night. I'm sure there are bigger rooms available at a higher cost.
Excellent kipper
Photo of main building a little misleading.
Vriendelijk personeel, goed eten, schoon kamer
Het raam van de kamer was kapot.
el entorno
El hotel exteriormente es muy lindo pero interiormente las habitaciones necesitan algunas mejoras, ejemplo el TV es pequeño y las habitaciones no tienen teléfono para comunicarse con recepción
The hotel has a lovely traditional feel and looks charming. Nice location for exploring the Oban area. The staff was great, genuinely the highlight of the stay.
The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable, and the carpets in the room were well past their best.
