Not exactly what I imagined
Pros:

The location is good, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast was tasty.

Cons:

Surprisingly uinpleasant check-in experience - one staff member was really strangely impolite. This is not what we expect in Japan, and we always act in a respectful way so there was no reason to be brash.
Also, the way breakfast is arranged is so so - you need to go to a restaurant in a shopping center and there, options are quite tasty, but limited. Also, the rooms are small...

Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Pros:

Clean, friendly staff, water/hot water provided on every floor, great location.

Cons:

The WiFi connection wasn’t good. We also didn’t like the music in the hallway. We could hear it inside our room early in the morning when we wanted to sleep in.

Ideal for Nagasaki downtown
Pros:

Great spot centrally located for ease of exploring Nagasaki. Short walk to the station and a mall on your doorstep.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Room was bigger than most Japanese hotels and plenty of additional features provided such as phone chargers, irons and ironing boards.

Cons:

The parking suggested was 2000 Yen per night, but we found parking across the street for 1000 yen.

Good location but need to be aware of the bathroom.
Pros:

Location clean safe

Cons:

Bathroom has an ENORMOUS step to get into or out of. Very dangerous. We had to keep the bathroom light on in case we used it in the middle of the night so we wouldn’t get severely hurt trying to get into or out of it. Also high shower/tub but that seems to be everywhere here.
