Scary. Like being on a horror movie film set. Too expensive. Should be low budget. A disgrace to Gibraltar.
Pros:

The pool

Cons:

It it’s absolutely hideous. It’s the stuff nightmares are made off. Dark, creepy, dated. If you put the Shining and Psycho together you’d have the vibe of the bedrooms and corridors. It’s shockingly bad. The tv and lamp in bedroom is screwed to the table tops. There is no tea or coffee facilities in bedrooms which I find mean! The fridge was warm inside and the hair dryer looked at least 30 years old. Very poor. Very bad value for money. £100 per one night. A disgrace. It lets Gibraltar down! Owned by a Gibraltar family too. Needs a good overhaul. They are laughing all the way to the bank and clearly don’t care about reputation.

Gibralter and position of Hotel good.
Pros:

Pool area, location. Staff nice.

Cons:

Smelled musty. Decor very outdated. My room smelled musty. I couldn’t get the shower to work, was slippy and no handles. I was cold and the blankets on the bed didn’t feel clean. Duvets and clean covers would have been better.

Old-fashioned facility with good, old-fashioned service.
Pros:

Front desk and manager were very helpful with paperwork we needed for the Gibraltar authorities, also holding our luggage until our room was ready (early). The hotel very much reminds me of Britain in the '70s, which I toured as a child. Dark paneling, dark furnishings, long twisting corridors, so it was nostalgic for me.

My request for an interior room far away from the central part of the hotel and other guests was perfectly respected and I was pleased to end up at the very end of a long corridor behind an extra door. Very quiet.

Cons:

Gibraltar is expensive, there's no getting around it, but this is one of the lower cost options. Coming here, one would do best to not expect something modern

Brits en ouderwets, wel lekker in het centrum en aardig personeel.
Pros:

Old fashioned hotel direct in het centrum van Gibraltar. Het is allemaal wat sleets en ouderwets. Parkeren kon direct voor de deur.

Cons:

Het is allemaal wat sleets en ouderwets. Enkele lampen in de kamer waren defect.
