Poor accommodation
Pros:

The street it was on was lovely and green not far to walk to common

Cons:

We had a room by the stairs on the ground floor opposite the breakfast room which was noisy.
The room was an accessible room which we didnt need.
The photos on the website and on booking did not relate to our room - it need led an update in decor. Feel like I was sold something I didnt get. Bed mattress was paper thin.

Clean, but I would never stay there again
Pros:

It was a large room. Clean.

Cons:

We specifically asked for a ground floor ahead of time as my wife is handicapped and has great difficulty climbing steps. When we got there, the response was “sorry we cannot do it”.

What the heck is the point of booking early and getting a good rate if they could not get me a room my wife could walk to. I had to practically carry her up stairs that were so old (meaning they were small and steep) that she almost fell during her ascent.

I was very upset that they did nothing. Especially when it was obvious by her walker that this was going to be an issue. We could not go out to dinner as a result of their mistake.

Awesome place
Pros:

Staff was very kind and helpful. Overall environment is great. The restaurant is good and the woman at the restaurant was attentive and always with a smile!

Room was great, breakfast was OK, but a little disappointing.
Pros:

Room was nice, high ceilings, clean, good shower, quiet.

Cons:

Breakfast was underwhelming. Cooked breakfast was fine, but buffet was not inspiring - no fresh fruit, no chocolate croissants, no hot chocolate available.

Pros:

One of the best places we have stayed for a long while. Clean, well presented, friendly staff who have their customer to heart in every interaction.
Room was comfy, restaurant was amazing - real home cooked food..delicious and the breakfast was just as good.
Having parking was a huge bonus as well

Overnight stay before cruise. Can highly recommend. Taxi organised for journey to Port

I cannot fault the staff but our room and bathroom were a bit rundown. Very few amenities as in body lotion, no face was

The extreme friendliness of front of house staff.

Cons:

Our room was 27 however the bed on the right side looking at it sagged and felt like I was falling out of bed.

Overall great value for a night’s stay
Pros:

Good location and parking, friendly staff, decent breakfast and room was nice too - great value overall

Cons:

Our room was on the ground floor in the newer part of the hotel at the back - nicely done but unfortunately the walls/ceilings are too thin, so you can hear conversations in adjacent rooms as well as foot steps, water pipes and doors closing loudly
