Room misrepresented through photos of refurbished rooms pretending to be boutiquey and not reflected in our room - see actual photos…. Would expect the photos linked to the room type to be accurate and the hotel has clearly avoided sharing more comprehensive photos deliberately. Details claimed hair dryer but seemed to be shared and from reception only. Broken shower (wouldn’t stay up) and plugs.

Perfect for our needs.
Pros:

Friendly staff, able to arrange an early check in which we needed.

Cons:

Parking was solved by the staff but was a little bit tricky due to the number of cars left whilst guests were on cruises.

Hotel estupendo para viajar en crucero
Pros:

El hotel es una casa tipica inglesa, acondicionada como hotel, que tiene habitaciones preciosas. La nuestra era la familiar porque solo quedaba esa y era super espaciosa y cómoda. Nos alojamos solo 1 noche porque salíamos al dia siguiente en un crucero desde Southampton y todo fue estupendo. Además, el alojamiento tiene mucha experiencia en viajeros cruceristas y te facilitan parking de larga estancia a un precio buenísimo (menos de 10 libras al dia) y transporte al puerto con taxis reservados con precio fijo de 12 libras. La mayoría del personal es maravilloso.

Cons:

El precio de la habitación fue bastante elevado porque era un dia con muchos viajeros en Southampton por la salida de al menos 5 cruceros, aunque entendemos que no es la tarifa habitual. El alojamiento no tiene ascensor ni aire acondicionado, para tenerlo en cuenta si se viaja en temporadas de calor o con mucho equipaje. Nosotros sufrimos una noche a mas de 30 grados en la ciudad y esto hizo la estancia un poco complicada, pero obviamente es ajeno al hotel. El desayuno si que es algo a mejorar, ya que es muy pobre (pan de molde, mantequilla y mermelada y algo de bollería y cereales, sin fruta, embutido, quesos, huevos etc) y no esta claro que es buffet y que es loque te sirven ellos. El ambiente, sobretodo por un señor que coordinaba todo y estaba muy malhumorado, no fue muy amable. Quizá esté es el punto a mejorar.
