Insgesamt sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei veralteter Ausstattung und schlechtem Reinigungszustand, definit
Pros:

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten, schöne Terrasse direkt am See mit ausreichend Privatsphäre (Sichtschutz zu den anderen Pods), freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Straßenlärm (direkt an der Hauptstraße), schlecht isolierte Fenster.
Sehr heruntergekommene und billige Ausstattung (Möbel abgenutzt, Geschirr teilweise kaputt, insgesamt veraltet).
Reinigungszustand sehr schlecht (Geschirr staubig, Boden schmutzig).
Sowohl die Innentür als auch die Außentür hatten einen kaputten Verschlussmechanismus.

Rip Off
Cons:

Arrived at 10pm having driven 8 hours up from Yorkshire. We were travelling with 2 dogs and I thought I’d booked a pod. Turns out I had booked a double room (my mistake) in the main building and paid £190 in advance. Explained to Mr Unhelpful on reception that the dogs would not be a good idea in the main building (they’re working dogs not fur babies) only to be told that’s what I had booked. I then asked Mr Unhelpful if there was a pod available which to my delight there was….but he wanted an additional £125 ! I had no option but to pay what was now £315 for around 7 hours sleep, bearing in mind this was now around 10:30 pm. But I’m sure Mr Unhelpful realised that he’ll probably never see me again along with most of his guests where repeat business isn’t a priority. The Pod was clean and comfortable, the guy on reception and his attitude let the place down.
