Pros:

Super central and was perfect to drop in from town to put the stuff down. We could also leave our bags in the morning for safekeeping. Were also able to arrange the breakfast in the morning at the last minute notice.

Cons:

The room was very hot but we had to keep the window closed for most of the night as there were people shouting outside until midnight or so and then when it all calmed down you could hear the trucks and cars flying through the window which faced the main street and some had modified exhausts so very loud even with earplugs. Breakfast was only ok and there was a long time to order, receive and pay for it.

Very convenient central location for city centre. Ideal if you just want a bed in a clean room.
Pros:

It was an old historical building, our room was in a newer part, which was functional and typical of a standard hotel room. It was clean and comfortable.
Reasonably priced car parking.

Cons:

A little dated, the bathroom was clean but could have done with the sealant around the bath replacing where it was discoloured and grubby looking.

Lovely hotel, centrally located, with good value breakfast
Pros:

Room was in the modern block and was spacious. Breakfast was very good value and plenty of it. The location is 5 minutes from the cathedral so very central. also used the pub in the older part of the hotel, where the service was excellent.

Cons:

Shower was inside the bath, which had a high side, so difficult to climb in for my wife. Cooked breakfast was slow and buffet food and crockery / cutlery was missing / had to keep asking for refills. There did not seem to be enough staff to meet the needs of guests. But when it was available it was good.

Pros:

Stayed her for two days during our bus tour. Great location close to the cathedral and the quay area. Awesome old building, really really liked that. Wonderful statue going in. Good breakfast included in our stay.

Cons:

Route to our room was an adventure - up the stairs, around the corner, no more signs to go buy, down the stairs, more doors, ... loved it and hated it at the same time.
Bathroom lights were turned off with switch over the door, good thing I'm tall enough !
Using the bath/shower was an adventure, really felt dangerous to get in and out of that thing.

Pros:

I had not realised that there was a modern block of rooms behind the White Hart, which is an historic building. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The rooms were a good size; the beds were comfortable and I slept very well. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, with a limited continental selection as well. I would certainly consider staying here again if I was in Exeter as the location is good for access to the city.

A perfect place to stay in Exeter
Pros:

Loved the 14th century beams and architecture within the pub and restaurant. I loved the welcome that the staff gave us. The room was clean and tidy. The room was quiet. The breakfast was delicious with the choice of a cooked breakfast or a continental breakfast. The White Hart is situated within short walking distance of the city and to Exeter Cathedral.

Cons:

All good.
