Another great stay
Pros:

We had a really lovely stay.
Very comfortable and welcoming for our dog too.
Staff very attentive and always on hand to assist if required

Cons:

I tried a vegetarian breakfast one morning, as our friends were vegetarian who were staying too.. Im sorry the sausage was not nice which was disappointing as food here is always lovely. There are much better veggie sausages on the market our friends told us and frankly I wouldn't bother with the bacon substitute at all. The rest of the breakfast was lovely and food during our stay was lovely. I can recommend a meat full English it's really good

Pros:

We had a ground floor room on the lake side which was absolutely delightful. When we sat outside, the ducks would waddle up in the hope of receiving food - a real treat to watch.

Cons:

Although not an issue, their website shows the bar and restaurant menu; however, the restaurant is only used for breakfast and the bar menu was different to that shown online.

Een goed verblijf als een goed bed en ontbijt je belangrijkste punten zijn.
Pros:

Ruime parking, verouderde kamers maar nog steeds comfortabel. Goede bedden, ventilatie door het raam open te zetten is een optie, maar slaap je aan de snelwegzijde dan heb je 's nacht geluiden vanaf de parking en de nabij gelegen snelweg.
Ontbijt is vlot en goed van samenstelling.

Good stay at the Inn
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lakeside room, spacious and although not modern I loved the fact there was plenty of surfaces to put stuff and mirrors to use. It was clean and functional so no complaints from us!

Cons:

The TV was quite tiny for the size of the room but that was the only small issue really.

Popular hotel let down by many small issues.
Pros:

Our room was on second floor and the view over the lake was outstanding. The bed was very comfortable and roomy and the bathroom was clean and the shower nice and powerful. Bath was really nice to have. Parking was good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

We had a little dog so needed a little more in facilities. We were charged extra for our dog but got nothing extra for it. Carpet in the room was very dirty. Marks all over it. Lighting in bathroom was simply not bright enough. TV was tiny, completely unwatchable really. A fridge would have been really useful with a dog you quite often need to store petfood, we were unable to do this. Hotel advertised itself as a lakeside hotel, however there was no access to the lake grounds really to walk our dog. Big gates everywhere. Even though hotel had notice of our dig Room was positioned right in the middle of the hotel so taking the dog down was a bit of a mission. Breakfast was a pretty basic choice and very portion controlled.
My main gripe is the total lack of understanding for dog owners and their needs. Much more thought needs to go into this and the tiny TV was just quite irritating.

The cleaning staff didn’t do a good job, there was a coat still in the room from the previous guest which makes me think the cleaning by staff didn’t do a good jog of cleaning the room.the tv was pathetically small.
