Relaxing retreat in a Lake District
Pros:

Clean, homely and very comfortable. Great bar and sofas to relax on. Delicious food. Stayed one night but it was really enjoyable

Cons:

Car park a bit crowded but we found a space. Little bit of road noise.

A couple in the Lake District
Pros:

The staff were friendly and very attentive to our needs. The food in the dinning room, both evening meals and breakfast were of excellent quality and very tasty. The location was great for Keswick and surrounding villages such as Braithwaite and Thornthwaite etc.

Cons:

The en-suite was very tight/cramped but tidy and clean. Without being a killjoy, some people are a little uncomfortable being around dogs and there were too many dogs present in the dinning room when we were eating. Maybe this needs to be reviewed.

Nice stay and only a short drive from the lakes.. recommended !
Pros:

I only stayed one night but the staff were super friendly and had a very comfortable lounge area. Nice atmosphere and very quiet through the night. Breakfast was superb... Would definitely recommend and would definitely return !

Very nice staff, accommodations and location. Easy and short drive to Keswick town.
Pros:

Breakfast was nice and the service was quick and efficient. The dinners were done to perfection and the staff were accommodating and friendly.
